Many people do though.
My two babies eat better than I do, on wet food. When the problems with wet food were going on, I was forced to put them on dry...and they gained between 5-10 pounds. It's slowly comming off. |

As with all LC foods you have to read the ingredients. Most commercial pet foods are made with corn which is one of the most common pet grain allergies. Others are made with rice or wheat which is a problem as well. My little Ruby eats a grain free, LC diet. She eats Orijen dry food and loves it. It is a little fresher and softer than regular old grain filled dry food, smells better too! ![]() About Orijen: High-protein, low-carbohydrate and grain-free, ORIJEN features fresh regional ingredients in a Biologically Appropriate ratio of 70 percent meat, 30 percent fruit and vegetables and zero grain (70/30/0).

Yes pocahontas, you really have to read those labels. Even a grain-free flavor can change from fine to full of crap with you knowing. It doesn't help that the type is so tiny! LOL
