Ok, I use liquid Stevia but I will NOT use splenda because it gives me headaches and it is chemically altered. The Stevia I use is crushed from stevia leaves. It is not artificial. However, the sweet on the tongue releasing insulin sounds more like the issue. Also, I don't think I have been eating enough. But I will break through it, I always do. I have done well losing the 54lbs with LC just as last time. I was asking the question because I hadn't yet heard of anyone stalling with Stevia (I was drinking tea all day with several drops in each glass) I know the checklist for finding other reasons for stalling. I also know that Splenda is not "safe", it has the same composition as chlorine. As for the Diet Coke, it is aspartame and I know it is horrible for me (worse than Splenda) and I have almost gotten all of it out of my system.

Either calories that are too low or a refeed that is too high in calories sound like more likely reasons. |

Unless you consider the release of insulin after the release of amalyse to start the digestive process...

I hope I didn't sound snooty. I think it is more the "refeed" or really what would have been a cheat. Because it was an accident, not on purpose and there was a lot of protein/fat along WITH the carbs. I have since gotten back to my low, just hoping for a nice jolt into the 170s. Now that my system is clean, this is the real test this week to see if I am even really in a stall or just been eatin "dirty". Hehe. I guess I should find the blog section and write there for a week. Found out I was dropping out of Ketosis with the salads. Guess I'm getting too many tomatos. Everything else is very low/induction foods and I don't get onions anymore. So clean eating...honest...clean eating. Haven't had Stevia in three days.

Do you keep track of your food on a site like Fitday? Carb creep can happen if you don't pay attention. Coffee has carbs, does iced tea?? I do not believe that Stevia is your problem, but are you still drinking diet soda?? If so, that may be your problem. You could post a few days menu and see what everyone thinks. Good luck!
