Until they ban organic food, meat, saturated fats and start IV'ing glucose into my veins I will be fine
God help the lowfatters if it ever was the other way around LOL Jenny Craig and Weight Watchers would go up in smoke! Maybe we should all start a colony of superhumans... ![]() |

have you ever thought about what would happen after they absolved saturated fat and put the blame on the real culprits of ill health?
if they ever properly revamped the food pyramid?? The impending chaos and mass global economical and political destruction, people would be out of jobs, homes.... starving and sick and angry. That makes me shudder. But after the smoke clears: Fields left to pasture, oil fields gone broke (but gas is now .15 cents a gallon but who needs it anymore, we can drive using waste from all the cows) Our air clears, the ozone repairs... people are healthy, the fish are abundant in the clean oceans.... and all that expense that was one allotted to oil/pharmaceuticals and the health industry can now be channeled into water conservation, education, waste management and environmental repair. The outlook appears bleak, but when you take money and oil out of the picture.... there is a silver lining. |

Here is a thought....
I read somewhere that the UK imports 15,000 tons (I think I could be wrong but it was a lot) of waffles annually. The UK also EXPORTS 15,000 tons of waffles annually. So why not just make and eat their own darn waffles? Well, the shipping industry would certainly sell a lot less fuel annually. So to keep this on topic... organic foods are a great thing! And I recommend those 'Green Bags' to keep them fresh longer, because we hate to waste expensive food. |

Same brothers who own the Aldi's food chain also own Trader Joes-Theo and Karl Albrecht. Forbes lists them on the worlds richest dudes list.

OMG. It sounds like the small town in NC that I'm from. Granted, NOW it's a bustling and crowded... well, still town. But it's like doubled in area and quadrupled in population.

I love TJ's. I wish my budget would allow me to shop there exclusively!! I love the sparkling mineral water I can get there too, keeps me away from the Dr. Pepper.

Money is tight for me right now, but I actually find Trader Joe's to have very good prices, especially when comparing their organic produce to the other grocery stores.
