Yesterday's vegies was my salad.. about 2 cups and then the cauliflower casserole.
Today.. 1 cup of salad so far, and a BIT of cauliflower and kale in the soup. Im planning on some green beans and salad for dinner.. Is that good you think??? Im trying to use stuff we have.... LOL I am a bit worried about sodium . I used chicken bouillon in the soup and it may be too much...and also the cheeses.... so Im downing the water. I was going to plug it into fitday but to be 100% honest.. I dont ever keep up with it. I find myself consumed thinking about food when I do that and its just too much for me. Exhausting almost to constantly have food being my focus.. you know? |

I wouldn't worry about the dairy unless you find that you have stalling, and/or having other issues. EDIT: The jicama is alright (I just checked on the Atkins website!! Maybe I'm thinking about an older version of Atkins or something when I thought it wasn't allowed.) If your carbs are too high though, try some celery with your blue cheese instead! I'd also say that the creamer might cause you problems, depending on the ingredients. If it has maltitol, isomalt, etc. that might cause a stall because sugar alcohols have the same effect as regular carbs in some people. ![]() But good job, and I think you're doing GREAT!!! Keep up the good work! ![]()

Cool.. Thank you!
I looked at the atkins website and it said that jicama was / ok for induction but you're right.. celery would be better!! If I post the ingredients of my creamer will you dissect it for me please? Its the one thing I just LOVE as my treat but if I have to go to half and half I will ![]() |

Looks good to me! Hard to tell if it's too much dairy- some people have no trouble at all. If your weight loss is lagging, cut back a bit.
welcome and good luck! |

Most of those flavoured SF creamers are made of hydrogenated oil, a bad fat.

You could maybe get the same effect in your coffee by using real cream and Davinci's SF hazelnut syrup.
The SF creamer was the only thing that jumped out at me as possibly causing problems. Best of luck on your LC journey! |

I used to use DaVinci's syrups ALL the time but kinda forgot about them. I will look into that for my coffee. I drink 1 big cup a day.. LOL, I fill up a second but never drink it.. its become more of a weird habit.
