HELP! 9 days on induction and no weight lost!
I have been on induction for 9 days now, and haven't lost an ounce. I did this a few months ago and had lost 7-8 pounds by this point. I am not terribly overweight, I'm looking to lose abouit 20-25 lbs, and nothing else has worked. I also exercise 3-4 days a week. My ketostix are never consitantly purple. Today on day 9 they said negative. I am very careful about my carbs, and I'm not even eating any "Low Carb" packaged food. I'm very frustrated and ready to give up, any sugestions?

Post your stats-how much you weigh and how much you want to lose. Also post a couple of days menus with amounts. Also do you have any health issues and are you on any meds?

Could you be losing inches? How do you feel?
I know some more experienced Low Carbers will follow behind me with more help. Maybe posting a menu, so they can see what you are eating might help. Don't give up though . |

Are you measuring your foods? Water intake? Looks like you need some fats added in...
Butter, mayo.. etc |

It looks to me like you maybe are not eating enough especially with exercising 3-4 times a week. Those closer to goal usually find the weight loss slower also. Is your fat level high enough?

65% fat 30% protein 5% (max) carbs Just eyeballing it you're probably nowhere near that high of a fat percent. It IS a tough switch to make from low cal low fat. At least put some high fat low carb dressing on your salad and some butter on your vegetables with dinner! |
