BMR and too much protein help

Ok so the BMR calculater told me to eat 2105 calories. Trying to do 75% fat, 20% protein , 5% carbs.

So thats 1578.75 calories of fat. So dividing that by 9 that is 175.4 grams of fat.

So thats 500.95 calories of protein. So diving that by 4 I get 125.23 grams of protein

Finally thats 25.3 calories of carbs. So dividing that by 4 gives me 6.33 grams of carbs

I am not sure I am calculating this right or if it's possible for me to eat like this. I thinking my protein is still to high....Any one help me out here?

Since there are about 6 grams of protein in a rich natural protein source like meat or cheese, that works out to 21 ounces of protein a day.

Three egg omelette with cheese for breakfast: 4 ounces

Mozarella stick for snack: 1 ounce

6 ounce burger for lunch: 6 ounces

8 ounces of chicken for dinner: 8 ounces

nuts or sunflower seeds sprinkled over your green salad: 7 grams equiv 1 ounce.

1 serving Broccoli, avocado, green beans: 6 grams equiv 1 ounce.

There is your 21 ounces.

Thanks, I am still trying to wrap my head around this stuff. I am not doing eggs or cheese right now so I'll translate that back into meat.

7 ounces of meat per meal and you're there. If you want a few snacks, go with 6 ounces. That isn't all that much.

Invest in a food scale and you will realize very fast how little 6 ounces of meat really is.

This is one reason people tend to way overdo the protein and stall themselves.

But I hope you will get some of your protein from the low carb veggies. Low carbing without veggies may get weight off you, but it isn't a healthy way to eat long term and it also isn't a diet most people can sustain for years.

Remember: You will have to eat a diet very similar to the diet you lost the weight on to maintain the weight loss. This is the ugly little secret of dieting that most of the books slur over. If you really want to eat only meat for the rest of your life, go for it, but most of us find that impossible.

In fact, after many years of low carbing I got to where I could barely stand to look at meat, and I started out loving it.

I think I do better on more fat less of the rest, so I want to try this thats why I am doing this crazy college math here

SCALE: I think I have one. It's black, digital. Does like to the .000 of the ounce. I use it to make soap, lotions and so forth. But I think it's really a kitchen scale

Thanks again BS101 you are a wealth of information!

Um, I think your math is off.
5% of 2105 calories is 105 calories from carbs /4 = 26 grams of carbs.
75% of 2105 calories is 1579 calories from fat /9 = 175 grams of fat
20% of 2105 calories is 421 calories from protein /4 = 105 grams of protein.

Hope that helps.
