Why do this?

I'm on induction, and it's tough but I'm enthusiastic and that seems to be getting me over the hump. I know that there will be rough parts in the coming months, so I thought I'd make a list of reasons why I'm doing this so I don't forget.
1. I want to feel energetic
2. I want my blood sugar to drop before I cross the borderline
3. I want to see my face w/o the extra padding on it
4. I don't want to shop in the PLUS size section anymore

What about you? What are your goals? What keeps you going when it get hard?

That there is no denying that my blood sugar is better! That's what I tell myself when I am feeling bummed over the weight loss (or lack thereof)

I don't ache anymore. I used to have random pains all over my body. Plus, I'm eating like a frickin' king. That alone is enough to keep me motivated. KUTGW Tennessee!

I am not in induction, but why low carb:

1. No more bloaty feelings after eating.
2. Feeling satisfied with reasonable amounts of food.
3. Learning new ways/things to cook.

For me:

1) to be free of the carb addiction
2) to really enjoy my food and feel satisfied
3) to be free of the carbo fog that clouded my brain
4) to ease the burden on my poor knees
5) to stop my insulin resistance from becoming diabetes
6) to eventually be able to wear all this pretty vintage clothing I've been collecting
