Starting to recognize that I feel better on less carbs-not more carbs
I was up to about 35 g of carbs a couple of weeks ago & I didn't feel all that great. I thought perhaps that maybe the reason I was feeling like that was that I needed to eat more carbs. So I'd eat something more carby along with some fat & protein & feel better for five minutes & then start feeling horrible again. And of course, my appetite got out of control, too. And my energy was zapped from me.
So I went the extreme opposite for a day to get my appetite under control. I dropped my carbs down to less than 10 g (if you count the carbs in eggs). And wouldn't you know it? Within a day, I had my appetite under control. I felt better. No feeling good for five minutes & then starting to feel horrible again. And I finally got my energy back. I'm not going to stay at 10 g of carbs. But I do recognize that less carbs-not more carbs-makes me feel a heckuva lot better. Dyan

I have found the same to be true for me, Dyan. That is what's so great about gradually adding carbs back, you can find what is right for you. Thanks for sharing.
