You read these stories now and again of people who live entirely on just one type of food. In fact there was a TV show over here called "Freaky Eaters" (nice sensitive title there, when they're talking about people with an eating disorder

) where a couple of psychologists help the person to get back to eating a more normal diet.

It shows the amazing resliance of the body, what it will get used to and survive on if it has to. But of course eating such a restricted diet - especially of something as unnatural as Mars bars or whatever - is obviously going to have some kind of long term health problems down the line.

Says he drinks lots of OJ as well as plenty of vodka. So "nothing but Mars bars" is not quite accurate for his nutritional intake. What is a Mars bar like? Almonds, I think, as well as chocolate and maybe nougat. Don't think I've ever had one. Have you?

There's no almonds in the UK Mars bar. It a layer of nougat, with a layer of caramel, all coated in thick milk chocolate. Oh and if you think that sounds bad for you already, some years ago someone in Scotland (who clearly thought the heart disease rate in that country wasn't quite high enough yet) came up with the idea of coating it in batter and deep frying it.

I saw Nigella Lawson make deep-fried Mars bars once. OMG!! I know it is bad for you but they looked so good! Luckily, I have never attempted to deep fry candy bars.

Not to defend this guys freakish diet..........

...... just wanted to note that there are plenty of *DIETS* out there which
are just as goofy, and we don't judge them so much....for example :

1) OPRAH WINFREY - remember when she went on that liquid diet back in the 80's ? Lost like a million pounds...? She wasn't even eating any food ! Only shakes ! that's got to be as bad as living on Mars bars.

2) Slim Fast -
Thinsk of all the devoted followers living off of those " protein BARS"...nothing more than a glorified candy bar, really..... and I know plenty of misguided gals out there that do, indeed, live off of those suckers, and don't eat real food. ! again, just as bad as living off mars bars.....

3) KIMMER -

yes, that crazy lady who used to post RIGHT HERE on low carb friends !
She'd tell people to eat nothing but EGGS for days on end ! EGGS ! Now, I love eggs just as much as anyone, but eating nothing BUT them, for days and days and days on end.......that can not possibly be good for you, I don't care how low carb and how high protein they are.;....... thats too much of a good thing, I must say....Again, just as bad as living on MArs bars, and at the time people thought KIMMER was a genious ! geez !

so.... just thought I'd mention the above instances, to show there are all kinds of crazy....

And living on Mars bars is WAY out there.....definately ! .
....maybe he's just an Alien....his DNA needs the nougat ? makes ya wonder !
