Heavy Cream question
It lists 0 carbs on the carton. Even an egg is .5. So...my question is why is there a limit on cream? Even if the label says 0 and there is 1 carb (like labels sometimes do) why would that be too many carbs? Why would that stall someone?

According to the USDA, heavy cream yields 6.6 total carbohydrates per cup.
I do not exceed 6T of it a day simply because I feel carbohydrates beyond this amount should be spent wisely: non-starchy veggies, nuts, low-glycemic fruit, Greek yogurt, and so forth. Oh, and I almost always get the heavy creams that state "0g" per serving as opposed to the ones that for whatever reason cite "1g" - it's just a psychological thing for me! The one exception: Target brand heavy cream; it's just the best and thickest I've ever tried. I am not kidding when I tell you that I have given a go at some heavy cream brands that manage to have a watery consistency. Definitely a no thanks on that!

Cream is a calorically dense food-in other words its fattening when you overconsume it. Also some people have dairy sensitivities they are not even aware of that can stall weight loss. Dr. A wrote about these things in DANDR-reread for a refresher.
