Question on behalf of my friend regarding hunger/food consumption:

Good afternoon everyone! One of my best friends (Kelsey) recently started Atkins Induction after she gained about 10 pounds. She created an account on here today but is waiting for it to be approved, so I offered to ask her question on my account in the mean time. She is 5'1" or 5'2" but has a very tiny frame (small bone-structure) and used to be 105 pounds about 1 year ago. She is now up to around 115 and just wants to get back down to her previous weight.

Kelsey says that she really has no difference in her level of hunger between right after she eats and right before she eats, meaning that she is never really "hungry" but she doesn't get "full" either, so she is having problems with consuming too much food since there's nothing in her head that says to stop eating (she thinks). Today she has eaten,

- 2 sugarless jellos with whipped cream
- 2 cups of coffee with cream and Splenda
- a cauliflower and 2 egg omelet with 2 tablespoons of butter
- 3 sticks of mozzarella cheese
- 2/3 pound of hamburger
- small salad with cucumber and oil & vinegar dressing

in 5 hours without any exercise today.

I said that it sounds okay... but I thought that was for the WHOLE DAY, not 5 hours. Kelsey also says that she doesn't really feel full and could eat some more but is stopping herself... Any advice on what might be going on? She is also wondering on if she should continue to eat or not when she feels like this, as well as if this sounds good for Induction (I think so but I'm certainly no expert LOL).

Thank you all SO MUCH!

Good Lord, I'd starve!!!

Course with her weight... I'd suggest drop some cheese, eat more veggies!

I think she needs to get the book, and cut out the jello.

The book will help her immensely.

If she isn't hungry, why is she eating so much in a short time? At her size, calories matter -at least they do for me.
