Newbie Hello to My Twin Sister Twinzie01

I wanted to introduce my twin sister "Twinzie01" to the LC family.

We have struggled together with our diets all our life. We have supported eachother through tough times and good.

She started her induction last week and is already down 10 lbs by day 4. Congrat's sissy!! I have shared my success and she decided to join me in the Low Carb journey. Through her excitement she has strengthened my resolve to turn down those little cheats now and then and I have dropped 3 lbs and got the scales moving again.

She may be shy about posting, but she is viewing when she can get online. I know you will all be very welcoming and encouraging. The first step toward success is acknowledging your addiction. Ours is high carbohydrate foods. Here's hoping we can conquer our addiction together and live a healthier lifestyle in the future.

Welcome!!! I think it's so sweet that you and your sister are doing this together. Times like this I wish I wasn't an only child!

And congrats on your loss so far Twinzie!!!!

We are on our way. When you are accountable to someone else, it seems to help keep you on trac. She is going through a lot right now...so I give her lots of pats on the back to add low carbing to the mix. But we are sharing recipes and weigh in's so it helps a lot. Thanks for the encouragement.

Thanks for the welcome. Guess I need to show my sister how to post. Maybe she isn't logging in and just reading at this point. She is dealing with a mother in law with Alzheimers and a step daughter moving in. Lot on her plate. But I talked with her the other day and she is doing great. Very motivated.
