Fat Ratios

I am attempting to log my food into The Daily Plate. It seems easy enough to use so far! What is the optimal percentage of fat that I should be aiming for for the day?

depends on what low carb plan you are following. Atkins will be higher fat and the protein plans will be lower.
Low fat is defined as under 30% so you don't want to be there.

I'm not really following a particular plan right now. Just a general low carb & trying to figure out what works for me. I am usually between 20-40 carbs total for the day. I thought I remembered some saying that they lose best when their fat is high. Like 70% or more? I thought I would start charting my intake to see what my totals are.

I eat high fat. I've lost 60 lbs since January. Hoping to lose another 115.

I aim for 75% + every day.

I lose at a good rate. I'm happy.

I also eat enough protein to equal my goal weight - 150 grams.

When Dr Atkins was alive his office started folk out at 65% for induction and if after 14 days weight loss was too low do to metabolic resistance then the fat was increased.
