aw thanks EVERYONE, I really did feel great. I have never had my hair done professionally before
![]() cathlaur: my eggs creams are very simple, everyone does it differently but I am just in LOVE with this version: in a blender goes 3 large free range eggs (organic is best) 1/5 oz of heavy cream splish of vanilla (much smaller than a splash LOL) sweetener to taste 8 frozen cubes of coffee maybe a bit more cold coffee if it it to thick I have also been putting in 1.5TBS of extra virgin coconut oil, but not everyone likes the taste of coconut so it is up to you. These things are a God-send for me, and for a long time actually felt guilty like I was indulging in something I should not be eating LOL |

Prozak,
I know this sounds whiney, but the raw egg thing kind of grosses me out. I'm a bit of a pickey eater. Can you substitute whey protein powder for the eggs or would that not be low-carb enough? I'm a newbie, struggling horribly. Any advice besides stop being a whiner about the eggs? =) Blessings, Lovetoread |

As long as it is a sugar free Protein powder you will be fine, check the carb count.
Lot of people use powder.. I just prefer the eggs. I really do think you should at least TRY it. I swear you won't know it is in there. You can't get much more perfect protein and fat than a whole raw egg. |

PROZAK!
What a great accomplishment! So happy for you! ![]() And let me be one more to add that what you said is so true -- I'll never be "grateful" for being chubby, but I understand what you said about finding LCF because you were trying to lose weight. I have learned such a wealth of information on all kinds of health and wellness-related topics from people here. It's really like I'm two different people -- before low carb, and after -- and it's not just the weight, but the KNOWLEDGE. And you know what? The oldest bridesmaid was the prettiest one there. : |

Congrats, Prozak! It's okay if we set goals and aren't able to reach them on our preferred schedule; we can't force our bodies to do it. But it's really exciting when someone sets a goal like yours and reaches it! Very inspiring.
