Question on headaches

I know that it has been discussed about having headaches during induction, but does anyone get them on a regular basis after induction? I have been doing the LC for about 6 weeks now and for the last 4 days I have had headaches every day. Nothing new with the weather, haven't added any new foods. I was just wondering if anyone else gets these?

Did you have headaches prior to LC?

I did but it was because I was low in Iron from being anemic for so long without knowing it.

I have been taking super strong Iron for almost a year now and since surgery (hysterectomy in Oct.) I haven't had any problems at all with headaches.

I would strongly suspect dehydration and/or not enough calories.

I agree. I never get headaches since starting this WOE and getting into ketosis.

Try drinking more water. And then drink some more.

Oh I know it isn't a water thing. I drink about 120 liters per day. I will look at the calories though. That might be it. I am going to start a journal tomorrow if I have another one. 5 days is just too long.

I will do that tomorrow if I have another one. I really haven't made any changes though. Nothing that I can think of. The only medicine I take is the Iron and I have been taking that for a while now. It will probably end up being something simple that I am overlooking.

Thanks for all the ideas though.

Iron a pretty powerful supplement...from the limited amount that I understand. How long have you been taking it?

Hmmm maybe nitrates from bacon and other foods? I know they can cause headaches.

Last week I had a headache the whole 7 days, I used to get migraines a lot, even my meds wouldn't help. Don't know what it was but it finally just went away.

You could be burning off some nasty fat soluble toxins that were stored. Flush with lots of water. This has happened to me and my family more than once.

Also, if a plant that affects you is producing an allergen right now could just be airborne.

What's the location of the headache?
I get them in the back of my neck and for a long time couldn't figure out why. turns of the new pillow I bought was thicker than my old one. never had trouble after that.

high blood pressure or anything like that a problem? chiropractic? new exercise regime? anything that could kink or strain a muscle or puts your spine "off" can cause a headache.

I also get headaches all the time. On the 4th I had a headache and i took 2 vicodin and they did nothing but upset my stomach, didn't dull the pain at all. It feels like there is a vice squeezing the front of my brain. I only get headaches in the front part, temple to temple. Any advice on these headaches.

I think I found out what the problem is. They are tearing down one two old housing buildings that are right across the small patch of woods separating us from them. My neighbor said she has been getting them too. This morning my son woke up with one. I am wondering if there is something over there that is some pretty bad stuff....
