I'm walking around my local supermarket in my mind now, picking things up in this order...
Fresh stuff: Vegetables Fruit Nuts Meat: Beef, lamb, pork, poultry Fish Bacon & sausage (not on my shopping list every week though) Eggs Inner aisles: tinned tuna/mackerel/salmon chopped tomatoes mayo salad dressing olive oil tea bags coffee herbs and spices ground almonds Back to the real food: Cooked meats (I like a bit of ham sometimes, but again, not every week) cheeses cream butter yogurt Edit: I know I'm not quite as strictly whole foods as some members here. I don't go for all organic for example, and I'll have a bit of sausage, ham, or bacon sometimes and a few tinned things. But I do make an effort to use as much fresh, unprocessed food as possible.

Well, lessee,
Here's some things that I do: I just went shopping yesterday for the moth so here's a look in my cart: PLUS I order from a food co-op, PLUS I get fill-ins from the health food store. This is just off the top of my head, I'm sure I'm forgetting a LOT! I buy organic meats. When we can't buy in bulk from a locally-raised, we buy Coleman organic beef from the store. The same with organic poultry (again with Coleman brand) The same with organic eggs, only organic, free range The same with salmon, only wild caught Alaskan, frozen or canned The same with whole milk, organic only I buy stevia for my sweetener. I buy organic fresh veggies: Mixed baby greens baby spinach romaine broccoli zucchini I am growing my own organic veggies and culinary herbs in Earthboxes as well Extra Virgin Olive oil butter organic virgin coconut oil organic ranch dressing Duke's mayo Bragg's Sesame and Ginger dressing raw almonds raw organic cashews organic golden flax seed, whole organic almond butter cheeses Bragg's or Eden organic apple cider vinegar with "mother" unsweetened cocoa powder organic apples organic strawberries organic blue berries organic full-fat plain yogurt organic peanut butter cream cheese sour cream organic short grain brown rice organic chicken broth tamari toasted sesame oil organic garbanzo beans organic fire-roasted tomatoes spices frozen veggies: green beans broccoli cauliflower
