28 lbs of Strawberries

I bought 28 lbs of strawberries, cleaned and sliced in their own juice (no added sugar). As I was carrying them in the house I noticed how very very heavy they were and realized that is about how many lbs I have lost since restarting on March 24th

thanks - it really did put it in perspective. I am sharing them - a co worker gets a third and we are giving some to dd.

LOVE my strawberries

and congrats on putting that together in your head!! I do that when I buy my bags of potatoes at Thanksgiving (for the family)..LOL

Hey, I took my son strawberry picking today, he is currently making a strawberry shortcake with his grandmother while I get ready for a date with my husband.

A co worker bought 1/3 of them. We have the other 2/3 so we can share some with dd. We are going to seal-a-meal and freeze them. dh loves to make homemade ice cream with strawberries and these should last quite awhile.
