Anyone try to "force" the whoosh? Any success?

I've just wondered if anyone can say that they can force the "whoosh effect"?

Does eating super-clean, or exercising really hard, or a combination of the two (more than your typical day) help to bring it on?

Just wanted to hear your thoughts. (I was lucky enough to whoosh this morning.)

Thanks!

I think "forcing the whoosh" is what we're all doing every day

Eating clean and exercising is the only thing that will bring on a whoosh.

Julia's got the answer.

The only other ways to achieve rapid weight loss at our brain's whim instead of our body's is by unhealthy methods that will bring the weight right back.

I have a weight loss competition that ends on Monday and there's $500 on the line - significant money for me if I win. The thought of doing the last few days of the competition as a fat fast or some other non-optimal form of weight loss did flit through my pea brain but I came to my senses.

If I win, I win, because I'm doing exactly what I should be doing for my weight loss and health. If I lose, I win, for the same reason.

(Of course I am glad that TOM cooperated by arriving just in time for a bunch of water weight to slide right off this weekend! )

Yes, I did. Didn't work! I had to correct a nutritional thing with more magnesium before I saw one.

Right now I'm doing two things that I hope will result in one: upping my water intake, and reinducting on Atkins '72 (I've been on just general Atkins induction, but think I need a week of zero carbs).
