BELOW My Driver's License Weight

I don't think I've EVER in my life been anywhere near the weights printed on my driver's licenses. The last time it was renewed, I was losing via Curves so I lowered the numbers thinking I'd be there soon. Never got within 30 pounds of it.
But this morning I finally had my very first visit from the Whooshy Fairy. Yesterday I'd bounced up a pound (too much cream cheese the day before), but this morning I was down 4 pounds! Can't believe it. Now I'm even 2 pounds LOWER than what it says on my license. Oh, I'm emotionally prepared in case of a slight bounce tomorrow morning, but I don't care - I'm claiming these numbers as mine! WhooHoo!

And to make it feel even better -- my scale is one of those old medical kind with the weights that slide across. Every 50 pounds you go to a whole new level. Oh my gosh. I have been waiting to slide that thingy over for so many years! And this morning was finally the day. This makes 40 lbs. since mid-January, 60 lbs. total. My weight hasn't been down here in over 20 years.

LONG way to go, but I'm gettin' there. Thank you, everyone, for all the encouragement and info you share.

I thought every state put the weight on the license, but I guess not. When I had mine renewed I had lost 80 pounds at the time and weighed 175. They refused to take a new picture so I had my new weight but old (fat) picture. Now I look much more like my picture but the weight is way off. It's up for renewal again this October so by then I should weigh a lot less than what I do now. When I go to get it renewed I'm just going to tell them I lost my license to make them take a new picture. I'll probably get a 10 year license so I better like the picture!

I have never heard of them putting weight on a license. If one gets a new license every 6 years or so then my gosh that seems like a terribly inaccurate piece of info. They put height and eye color on them here, but that doesn't tend to change.

Yeah, putting your weight on your license is just ridiculous. They don't do that in NC (at least they didn't when I moved from there in 1995) or MA.

I think my drivers license still says like 130 lbs from 4 ish years ago. I would soooo love to be below that weight!

You are doing great! KUTGW!

I'm so happy for you, but if I had to put my weight on my DL i'd move! LOL We don't do that here in FL. (maybe because all of the supper skinny people would make the ones of us really over weight feel bad, or maybe they dont put negative numbers on the scale, (i swear i saw a girl the other day that looked like the weighed -10. LOL)

THANK YOU EVERYONE for your encouraging words! I never could have made it this far without this board.
Maybe next year I'll even get a new picture put on my license: it must be 10-12 years old, my hair color has changed a time or two and it's been long short straight curly in that time .
