Syntrax Protein Powder - How do you make yours?

Hi,

I am a new convert to Syntrax Protein powder and so far I LOVE IT! I have the Syntrax Nectar Lemon Tea and I like to have it 2 ways. Sometimes I have it just mixed with water and it taste a lot like Turkey Hill's Lemon Iced Tea (to me) but most of the time I have one scoop mixed with about 15 oz of water and an ounce or 2 of heavy cream. I can't really describe the flavor exactly but it has slightly similar taste to Ovaltine. The heavy cream really cuts the lemon flavor which I find a bit strong sometimes.

I just ordered the Fuzzy Naval aand I'm excited to try it.

If you are a Syntrax Protein powder user, please tell me what flavors you have and how you make them (i.e., just with water, in a smoothie (what ingredients), with milk, juice or something else)?

Please share!

I really liked the vanilla bean torte flavor. . .used it in my egg creams, protein shakes and fawn shakes. I currently have the fuzzy navel flavor (got it because I saw that it was always a big seller at Vitamin Shoppe), but I think it's very . I've tried making protein shakes with it, but it just tastes too chemical-ish for me. I had a sample packet of the chocolate truffle flavor, and that was very tasty.

Protein Shake:

1/2 cup almond milk
1/4 cup h&h or hc
2 oz cream cheese
splash of DaVinci's
1/2 tsp cocoa powder
1 scoop protein powder
sometimes I'll add a couple of ice cubes

Egg Cream:

1/2 cup or so of coffee
1/4 cup h&h or hc
2 eggs
splash DaVinci's
1 scoop protein powder

Fawn Shake:

1/2 cup almond milk
1/4 cup h&h or hc
1 cup spinach
1 cup mixed greens or romaine
2-4 strawberries (I like to use frozen)
1/8 tsp splenda (quick pack)
2 oz cream cheese
1 Tbls golden flaxmeal
splash raspberry DaVinci's
1 scoop protein powder

Buon appetitto!

Thanks, Mommie22boys! I just received my Fuzzy Naval Flavor yesterday and plan on trying it Monday morning. *crossing fingers*....hoping I like it!

Can you please tell me what the Vanilla Bean Torte Flavor taste like? Have you made it with only water or almond milk? I was trying to decided whether to order that or the Fuzzy Naval but, since I wasn't sure what the flavor was for the Vanilla Bean Torte and I heard the flavor for the Fuzzy Naval was similar to an Orange Julius, I decided on that one.

Thanks for your help.

The vanilla bean torte was very vanilla-y, right down to the little flecks of bean in the powder. Yummy! I've never made it with just water. . .I'm SO high maintenance!! I'm still trying to find a way to use the fuzzy navel so that I like it. . .I have a BIG can to get through! I was thinking of using it in my Fawn shake and subbing in a couple frozen peach slices in place of the berries. I'll keep working on it. The good news for you is: lots of people say that the fuzzy navel flavor is awesome and they really like it. Maybe it's just me. . .

I have the fuzzy navel and the cappuccino and I dont really like either. But I use them since i paid for them.

I add frozen berries and cream cheese to the fuzzy navel with a little heavy cream. It comes out ok. There is just something weird about the taste.

I LOVE the fuzzy navel but wasn't too excited about the lemonade or cappuccino! We all have such different tastes! LOL!

I like to use about 1/2 cup plain kefir, 1/2 cup water, 2 tablespoons cream, and a scoop of fuzzy navel, all in the blender. OR, 1/4 cup Greek yogurt, 2 tablespoons cream, 3/4 cup water, and the powder. It reminds me of the old Orange Julius things!

Syntrax is great. With shakes, I use lite silken tofu, heavy cream, borage oil, Eggbeaters, room temperature cream cheese, and a little water. I like 'em huge!

Hi Sheila,

I am curious as to which flavors of protein powder you usually use and like?
