Michael Therman Diet...Anyone Tried?

I got hooked on this Infomertial. It was amazing to watch the testimonials of those who had lost weight (50 to 225 pounds).

The program claims a complete body sculpting in 6-weeks.

Anyone tried or have information on this?

Thanks!

I've done it and the whole "eat more" thing is a crock of you-know-what.

Every couple of hours I got to eat a 2 oz piece of chicken or other lean, salt free, fat free piece of protein, 1/4 cup (or was it 1/2 cup) of rice or other salt free, fat free carbohydrate and specific veggies. Not once did I feel satisfied or contented with the food I was eating. Not once. I lost 11 lb in one week but I suffered for it and hard.

You also have to drink 100 oz of water daily and you can have no salt whatsoever. None.

I still have the program and sometimes toy with the thought of starting it again but honestly I couldn't imagine putting myself through that again.

I've done it and lost a lot fast! You have to be very discipilined though and that's my problem now. I can't follow their plan like they say so I am combining that w/ lowcarb and it seems to be working for me. You don't get much. I think I once counted out 900-1000 cals for my days meals. It is very strict. BUt I know it works and they promote all natural foods, no fats, no dairy, no grains and NO SALT. They want you to drink at least 100 oz. watrer daily. Again though, if you are a strong disciplined person, you could do it and lose FAST.

Wow, thank you so much everyone!

As it is, just returned from Safeway with yet another week's worth of LC: chicken, beef, pork, CHEESE, Low carb wraps (and Flat Out), Cream, salad veggies and other good stuf..

I appreciate your help, links, information and feedback; have a great week (and I'm staying away from Michael Therman!).

I was suckered in by the infomercial and I foolishly bought the kit and promptly returned it. I spent 2 hours putting my kit together and then read the eating program - no way! It is deprivation to the max and NO SALT. Anyone that can stick with that program long term has some serious willpower. It was not for me, that's for sure!
