YOU ARE DOING GREAT!!!

The scale does not tell the whole story. Obviously, you are losing inches as well, which is the true litmus test of weight loss. Please remember. It is not about QUICK weight loss. It is about PERMANENT weight loss. When you do hit a plateau or stall, (and everyone does) it is a part of the weight loss journey. At that time, you might want to read ch 15 of DANDR (Dr
Atkins New Diet Revolution)which discusses in detail plateaus and what to do about them. Meanwhile, continue doing what you are doing. We are all gung ho for you. Love & Profits: FLATFERENGHI (in town & in con-TROLL)

Hang in there! And *I* don't think 4-5 eggs is too much, either. I am a female, and I eat anywhere from 2-6 eggs for breakfast. I am on Protein Power, and I have to hit minimum protein requirements.

But I want to reiterate that you *need* fat. So go for that crispy chicken skin! It's so yummy, and it may be just what you need to move that scale again.

All responses have focused on your food (and with good suggestions), but I am concerned about your comment about getting to sleep very late and having to rise early with the kids. Do you nap at all? I ask because lack of sufficient sleep is known to play havoc with weight loss, and that might be part of your problem.

Leo

I usually nap for about 2-3 hours in the afternoon when I get my daughter off to kindergarden. Sometimes I don't sleep at all when I get home and I just get the afternoon nap but most of the time when that happens my wife has come home early from work and I lay down earlier and I'm able to nap for about 4 hours. It all used to concern me but I'm kinda used to it now, if you can believe that.

To all those above who have commented: Thanks!! This is my first stall. It was a little disheartening but I'm getting advice from all of you that have probably been through several stalls on your journeys. I won't be quiting this WOE. Even if I never lose another pound, and I know I will!! I LOVE being 30 pounds lighter.
