Kami-- There should be a book based on these called A Month with Supple Buns featuring all of the recipes and ideas people have presented.

You'd think mine were made with cottage cheese instead of cream cheese.

That's what I'M saying!!!

I'm actually GOING to start my own personal book of PERFECT recipes. I just got a Jr. Burger with mustard and used some ALMOST burned oopsies. Turned out EXACTLY like a regular burger. (I also added my own cheese. Cheaper and NOT American.)

YUMM!!!

I think that's a super idea. It really pays to have a quick-grab handbook. Otherwise, it tends to be loose-leaf papers fluttering everywhere!

Oh no you di'unt.

Dude, I am so the anti-SWMNBN. I have my own hair, and I don't claim to weigh as much as a pair of Ethiopian conjoined twins.

I'm telling mom you said that.

Thanks. They were reeeeaaaalllly good, but I can tell that I won't be able to make them again for a very long time. I think I could easily have portion control problems.

I want you all to know that I joined your cult, er, I mean group, and took my buns to Wendy's today. Didn't get the Baconater because it looked too big for my appetite, but I did order a Single w/ cheese and bacon. Slipped off the Wendy's buns and ate the goodness on my Oopsie Buns. What a wonderful treat! I haven't had a bun like that in 7 months!

So....I have been making these w/ garlic powder instead of salt. And, for some reason I can not stop at one or two. I eat them all. And then make more, and eat those all. No problem w/ portion control w/ the recipe as written, but once I made 'garlic bread oopsies'...I ate too many.

Does anyone else have more of a portion control issue w/ tweaked versions of these things as opposed to just making as written and using as a bun only? I am pretty sure I read people are making 'pancakes' and 'desserts' w/ these? Is portion control a problem?

it really doesn't matter if it is a portion control issue ofr anybody else cause it is for you so you need to step away from garlic oopsie rolls even though all the ingredients are legal for your weight loss plan. I had to step away from Splenda cause any Splenda sweetened food caused portion cointrol issues as in cravings for anything sweet. Same for anything with celery in it for me.
SOme times a food causes us eating issues which don't seem logical but in order for us to get to goal weight when we idscover one we need to avoid contact with it.

I haven't had issues with the oopsies, but I will admit I've had to stop eating Swiss Cheese for the same reason. For some reason, I eat half of a pound of the stuff in a sitting. It is a trigger food, so I am staying far away.

Its funny how just the taste of garlic does that. Sweet does not, tangy/salty does. Drats....loved my garlic rolls!!!!

If you use mayo, I'd just use an ounce for every egg.

That's what I do. I weigh out 6 ounces of mayo (I make a double batch at a time) then add my seasonings. Same with sour cream if I use it, weigh out 1 ounce per egg.
