What are your 2008 Weight Loss Goals?

Kind of a spin off from our monthly goal post, but I'm curious and it's always nice to keep track of things you want to do.

2007 has been a wonderful year for me in terms of weight loss. I've lost over eighty pounds and I'm now over the half way mark in my journey. In 2008, I will meet my goal weight and maintain it. I'm going to do this and not ever look back because this weight loss has changed me so much. I'm going to have a life again and start living because there is nothing to fear. I was always so afraid to do anything before due to my weight and being scared that people would notice the big fat guy, but that's all gone.

In 2008 I plan on doing new things that I was afraid to do. I'm going to be outgoing and finally start dating and having a good time.

On December 31st 2008, I fully plan on being at 180lbs or lower and very happy.

I plan to reach my goal weight of 170 lbs (I'm at 182 now, so That's not far
off). I will probably go lower but I wanted to get there and then re-evaluate
where I want to go from there. I plan to maintain after I've lost all my weight.
I plan to be more active and get more exercise. I plan to drink more water and
just maintain a healthier lifestyle.

I would like to make goal by August-my 1 year Atkinsversary (well, this time around anyway )
I will continue planning meals and shopping weekly-good for the wallet too!
I will continue to Jazzercise 3-4 times a week.
I will try to take my supplements more faithfully than I do now.
I will try to get more water intake.
I will continue to visit this site for inspiration and motivation!

I will eat well every day.
I will not obsess over the scale, but I WILL set attainable goals (measurements, clothes that fit, etc) - and do my level best to meet those goals.
I will exercise at least 5 days a week.

Well, I'm not sure what my numbers are going to look like (I am not officially starting until midnight tonight) - but, besides feeling better, there are two things I want to accomplish:

1. Being able to wear my smaller (cuter) clothes

2. When I take a bath, to have the water completely cover me - lol - I know that sounds like a weird one, but, to me, that blessed state is what equals being on the road to skinny! lol Guess we all have our own measuring stick...

2008 Goals.....

Get into my size 12 jeans by my 38th birthday (8/20).

Reach a NORMAL BMI of 24.9 or lower (5'9 tall, weight at 168 pounds or less).

Work out on my elliptical (being delivered January 13th) 1 hour a day, 3x a week minimum.

Free weights, 3x a week minimum.

Throw out my ONE PAIR of size 18 jeans (I've REFUSED to buy another pair).

Great going, Seth!

My goals are very simple:
1. To become smaller
2. To become healthier
3. To become more confident
4. To not look frumpy in my clothing
5. To be comfortable in my own skin.

#1 & #2 have already started happening with an 8 pound loss during week one of induction.

#3 will come when I start working out again and it becomes easier

#4 & #5 won't come until I'm closer to goal
