2008 Goals

Maintain a healthy lc lifestyle

Continue drinking 10 glasses of water or more each day...getting used to it now.

I lurk here nearly everyday ...but will start to post more often. I love this site, I really do!

And today I start my weightloss scrapbook that will contain photos, daily journal, weight & random thoughts.

I lost 50lb from Feb 07, with a few pounds bouncing up and down.(191 now)

For 08 I'd like to be 15lbs down by Feb 15th since Ive re-inducted...(176 goal)

But I'd love to be 30lbs down by Summer, (151 summer)
Be 135lbs in Feb 2009 oh boy~

Here goes!
My goals:

1. Continue with LC as a way of life, not a diet
2. Make my total lost 100 lbs by Feb 1.
3. Onederland by March 12 (My Atkinsversary)
4. Exercise a minimum of 20 minutes a day, five days a week.
5. Goal by December 31, 2008.

I have approximately 80 lbs to lose to get to my goal of 150 lbs.

I would like to get back to my original weight of 135-140 and continue doing yoga. I feel yoga is the most important thing to me right now (besides the Atkins diet).

Just came back from the supermarket and was happy that I found everything I was looking for on my low carb plan - even hard to find items like sugar free ketchup and low carb white bread! I'm so happy!

to be able to keep doing what i have been doing.

I lost 100 lbs in 6 mos time in 2007. If i can lose the next 100 lbs by x-mas 2008 at the latest, it would be a priceless x-mas gift. that would put me about 25 lbs from goal. short term: to ride the cyclone in Coney Island (shirt optional). well, we'll see... Love & Profits:FLATFERENGHI

Well, back on track first of all.

My goals are simple: Get more organized, get myself out of this hole I am in financially (or at least get on the right track) and lose at least 30 lbs or drop 2-3 pant size (and get less flabby).

First goal .. my birthday on March 26th when I turn 45 is to be down at least 20 lbs or at least 2 pant sizes. I would like to reach my total goal by July 1st. Being that I am pre-menopausal, this may take some doing.... but I am determined. I know that LC is the way to go... but I know I also have to exercise because despite what many think... these go hand-in-hand. Thankfully I have my Gazelle and my daughter gave me Pilates DVD... No excuses!!

On the first of the year I weighed in at 315 pounds. On the first day of '09 I'd like to weigh in at 250. 65 pounds is a very doable goal. Its 1.25 pounds per week. 5 pounds per month.

I would like to reach goal (which is 56 pounds away and I've already lost 42 pounds!) and begin maintenance by November 7th which will be my one year Atkinsversary. According to fitday I need to lose 1.29 pounds a week which is less than I'm currently averaging so who knows, I may even get there sooner. And once I do get there, I will definitely be maintaining.

I also want to keep up the 2 to 2.5 litres of water I am currently drinking each day and drink Diet Coke (which I used to drink by the truckload) no more than once or twice a week.

I will also continue to go to the gym 3 or 4 times a week, every week. I've got a taste for exercise now, it helps with stress and it really does make me feel good. Plus I can see the benefits already, everything's a little tighter and firmer than before and I want this to continue!

And of course, I would like to maintain all-round happiness and security in each significant part of my life - family, friends, work, money, social and body aspects.

Well, 2007 was definitely a bust as far as weight loss - I started the year 15 lbs heavier than 2006 (I've lost 5 of those already). As far as learning about myself and what works for me - I learned a lot!! So much that I can say with confidence that my goals for 2008 are...

To get to goal and possibly lower - it depends on how my skin looks. I know that when I get too low my face looks gaunt rather than healthy.

To exercise 4-5 times per week faithfully. I want to get back into the shape I was before I got pregnant with my twins.

To possibly run a 5K. I'm not sure about that one because I seem to always end up with shin splints but I'd like to give it a try again now that I bought new shoes.
