Since a lot of us enjoy chai, how about a natural version? Here it is!
A friend gave me this Chai Recipe-if you wanted a homemade natural version.
Instead of using cardammon and water - I brew up a few cups of green chai tea warm to the touch & use that instead since the green chai already has cardammon in it. And of course, you can always substitute the agave nectar with a lower carb natural sweetener. 1 large banana handful or more of cashews (raw, of course) 3/4 cup of water or more depending on the thickness you prefer generous sprinkle of cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon of cardamon powder small squirt of agave nectar tiny pinch of Celtic salt Blend all together in a blender until desired consistency. And then enjoy! This is close to being a raw recipe but I'm sure you could enjoy it warm also. With the banana being in this, this would be more suitable for those in pre-maintenance and maintenance. Dyan
