I'm so sorry you feel bad - we've had something nasty going around here as well. I know walgreens carries sf drops because I used to get them for my grandmother. Take care & drink lots of H20

If you need a cough drop, have a cough drop!!

I use Halls when needed. The bag says they're 15 calories each, and I'm assuming that's all carbs. I believe one gram of carbs has 4 calories, so one cough drop would have almost 4 carbs (15 divided by 4).

I've gone to 2 stores and haven't found the sf. My throat hurt so bad I just had regular halls. Oh well, I have had at least six now, I'm definatley over my carb count for the day but I don't feel good enough to run around searching for sf. Thanks for all the comments.

Hope you feel better soon! Usually some sort of pharmacy store will carry them for diabetics. Oh well - get some rest

When you can find the Halls Sugar Free, get a few bags..they're cheap, and then you've always have them on hand. The sugar free are zero carbs.

I had the lime sugar-free kind last time I was sick and they are actually pretty good. They worked well, too! But honestly, between suffering in pain and having a few extra carbs, I say use the cough drops you have. I never lose weight while in pain. It just seems to shut all systems down.
