I bought it years ago so it might be different now but back then what you got to eat depended on how much you weighed. I was at the top range so what I got to eat was lean protein and veggies. Low carb/low cal/low fat. Ugh. Sent it back.

If you were not as large I think you got to add some starch/carbs so it was more moderate carb but still low cal.

My mom ordered this from QVC or HSN. Can't remember. She hated it. Michael's workouts are very good for the body. He's smart. However, his way of eating depends on how you metabolize food. I took the test and I came out an Endo-Mesomorph. I gain muscle weight easily but I am a slow loser. So my diet would've consisted of vegetables, fish, shellfish, poultry, etc. But no fruits/starchy carbs or red meats.
My mom came out an Endo-Ectomorph. It is hard for her to lose too but she has a little faster metabolism and is naturally skinny. (lanky-skinny limbs) She was allowed red meat and carbohydrates.
Here is the website and test to see what your body type/metabolism is like:

Click on the Blueprint Test on the right hand side of the screen.

Yeah, it had something to do with the way you put those little transparent sheets together to get what looked like your body...that was horrible! So it was your weight but also where you store your weight. Either way what I ended up with was nothing special and I was starving all the time.

I bought it about 6 years ago...if it's still the same, the food is SOOOOO bland. You make it yourself, but you are so limited with the seasonings, it's no good.......His excercize is the best!!!! Maybe pair up his excersize and your LC plan, could be a good match
