Costco's Wild Alaskan Salmon Patties

WOW!

These things are GREAT!!

I usually dont like salmon because it's too 'fishy' for me, but i got a pack of these at costco this weekend after seeing a few people here had them on their costco shopping lists and they are fantastic!

Very tastey without the extreme fishy taste. No carbs! YUM!!!

Im eating one now with costco organic green beans!

You definitly should!

If you are like me and tend to dislike salmon because it is too fishy, i would def try this.

They put a bunch of seasonings in it and they are just pre-made patties and they about 4 minutes each side and they taste like heaven!

and they are soo ggood for you.

its also 100% wild salmon.

not a bad price, either!!

im gonna eat one a day for the next month and then try to eat at least 3-4 of them a week after that since salmon is so healthy for you.

thank goodness i finally found a type of salmon that i like with good flavor with no carbs.

Oh shot! I was just there tonight but passed by them thinking that it was another pre-made patty with fillers.

No carbs? I might have to make another visit to Costco this week.

So are these frozen patties? Is there a brand name or are they Kirkland brand?

Inquiring minds need to know!

OK, that is THE worst thing to do to a nice salmon, make a patty out of it! I always think of the nasty canned salmon Mom would make when I was a kid. She'd make them into patties and fry them and I swore they had fish eyes in them!

I just grilled salmon the other day...cost a fortune...maybe I'll give these a shot. BTW- I used olive oil, horseradish, mustard, splenda brown sugar, and a splash of vineger for the marinade! Awesome!!

I'm really happy to hear they are made from wild salmon. We had a salmon trawler until the salmon fishermen in Monterey got legislated to death, became the endangered species and declared a disaster. In fact, I was at the Monterey Aquarium a few weeks ago and they have a display about the fish we eat. Farmed salmon would be enough to make you gag. In fact, I won't be buying any more canned tuna either. I don't know if the patties you are talking about are the same ones I tried a sample of or not but I didn't care for them. The best thing you can make is to cook some wild salmon on the bbq and then make patties out of the leftovers.
