if you google search it is the same as oolong tea, just the chinese pronounciation of it. the Wu-long site says its so wonderful because it has polyphenols, well so does green and white tea too
my pal at work and i did a search on it at the medical library, because she was sooo jazzed to get some. i decided not to cuz i think its another weight loss scam. so far she hasnt lost any weight. just went to the Wulong site again and i noticed that the wording is now changed. they had previously listed the scientific journal where all these chinese scientists were suposedly publishing their wonderous reports of fat burning from drinking the wulong tea. well we had searched all over and never could locate that journal. Now i see they DONT list the journal but just mention that results are published in "scientific journal" ---i want to be able to read study cases myself before i will believe an ad.buyer beware sugh if it sounds to good to be true it usually is. but if you want to try it, might as well get just normal oolong tea since it is the same. i DO think tea is good for you and can help with increasing metabolism.i am drinking white tea right now because of the super antioxidents in it (and its yummy )-hth

A friend of mine just got some of this off of ebay. I tried it. Tastes like regular tea. I also searched online to find out what was special about it and could find nothing. Their site doesn't even list anything special about it. I think it's a big waste of money. Desert Burn, however, is another story. I have been taking that for a week and it really does cut down on the appetite. I am liking it! (you can get this on ebay too!)

Wow, I would have a hard time spending 37 bucks for a thing of tea!!
I think tea, esp green tea, is great for you.... but its not a magic pill that will make you lose weight. If there was a magical cure, we would all be taking it and woul dbe thin!! That particular tea might have some stimulants in it that supress appetite, which I personally wouldn't recommend. |
