I bought mine at an Army Post Exchange. If you are near a post and know someone in the military, they're just a buck for a big bag! Oh, and gooooood! Although, I can only eat a couple at a time. Which, I think, is actually a good thing.

I've been only able to find them at HEB which is a regional grocer here in Texas. I love those and the jalepeno ones

I thought they were terrible! I love s&v chips but these aren't very good IMHO. Many of our local stores carried them..even Walmart.

Try a gas station/convenience store. I've found them there even when I couldn't find them at the grocery store.

Yayy!! I was hoping to find a way to make my own Salt and Vinegar pork skins!! Fell totally off the wagon today and had a bunch of the real deal potato chips and now feel like crap!! Why can't I remember just how BAD starches and sugars make me feel??

So, thanks, "soontobesexy" and "walkingwoman" for the ideas!

Back in the day (2003) supermarkets had options.
Now they have 'pork rinds'. ... Plain. One brand.

Be careful with flavored pork rinds, some brands use dextrose or other sugar/starch to make the flavoring stick, while not a huge carb load if you are like me and can snack up a whole 5oz bag the 10 servings @1 carb per serving can hose your daily count pretty quick

I have yet to find any 'flavored' pork rinds of any brand that doesn't have something detrimental, usually sugars, in them.

Yeah ... but there are "OK" levels and OMG WTH levels of carby additives

THe bag I'm munching now for instance lists 0 carbs 0 sugars, which given the rounding rules means that the bag may contain 4 carbs .. I'm ok with that. Now a bag I looked at the other day had 1 carb 1 sugar with dextrose as a listed ingredient for a 7 carb (all sugar) count ... thats not so good. And I've seen some BBQ flavored ones go for 2-3 carbs per serving .. OUCH

I like to spray mine with butter spray and sprinkle some Splenda and cinnamon on them. Probably taste even better if heated.

Fake Taco Bell Crispas
take PS place on microwave safe plate
spray w/ butter flavored pam
sprinkle w/ cinnamon and Art. sugar
nuke for a very short time
make "mexican cream" w/ sourcream, vanilla and Art sugar
dip PS in cream and enjoy :P
(you can also sprinkle with cocoa for chocolate crispas)

Go to the brand's website. They can give you a list of stores or tell you where to buy online. Good luck !!!

btw: Those of you who like them straight from the oven or fryer, there are some out there that are in a package similar to microwave popcorn. THEY WERE AWESOME 10 yrs ago. I can't find them in the stores locally any more. Netrition has some, but I can't remember if they are the same brand.

I found and bought some at the winco in marysville wa. i got s & v and bbq and i thought they were fantastic!! only $.88 a bag! buuuuuut when i went back they where no were to be found. when they had them they were in a cardboard display so they were not a regular item. for me they are better than the regular for flavor and they are not as dry. good hunting!

Try a Latin/Spanish food store. When I buy mine they are cheaper in the ethnic food sections.

I've ordered them from carolinasnacks.com, but don't get your hopes up. I love salt and vinegar potato chips and I love pork rinds, but I did not like the S & V pork rinds.

Go to Turkey Creek's website. They have them. They do kill that craving for salt & vinegar. I overloaded on them about a year ago and have had a bag of them for a year. I just have no desire for salt & vinegar anymore Lol.
