Jorge Cruise's 8 minutes in the morning...anyone tried this?

I've had the book for some time now and just found it again on my book shelf. I am going to start the exercise part of his plan tomorrow, I'm still not convinced to give up my low carb eating since it has ALWAYS worked for me when I followed the plan.

I have a very bad lower back and am now am having knee problems so this seems like a dream since I can't afford to pay for a gym membership anymore (at this time, I do plan on going back to the gym when finances allow).

Also I'm going to purchase on of those Tony Little Gazelle's, I used a friends for about a month and LOVED IT!!!!

Anyone found success on the 8 minutes in the morning?

I was doing it for a few months last year, and it did help build up my strength a bit, but after a while it didn't feel like enough. So I added pilates and some videos. I liked that it just took a little while (but more than 8 minutes). I had the cards instead of the book, and just went thru them day by day. I didn't follow his food plan either, I was doing a somewhat strick version of atkins. Now I am exploring the BFFM plan, and will start fully on it this weekend.

I have done his exercises. I like them. They are great for beginners, and for folks who can't (or refuse) to go to the gym (or buy equipment). I believe going to the gym is a much better choice if you can do it. I'm thinking of revisiting some of his exercises to see if I can replace arm exercises for a while. I hurt my elbow and can't lift weights...(

I have a bum elbow also. Years of throwing bales (and improper free weights trying to keep up with brothers).

I saw his book on-line for $1 and wondered if it might prove useful.

Thanks.
