AMAZING
I am new here and just wanted to say that everyone of you just look absolutely amazing. I have lost about 45 pounds since June 28 and I just feel so much better. I am hoping here soon that I will be able to post some pics too. Congrats to you all. I know it takes a lot of willpower, determination, and self-control. I pray daily for God to give me what I need to continue on. And so far so good. I am now maintaining, (although I would like to lose about 10 more pounds). My husband told me that I wasn't aloud to lose any more but we'll see. Anyways Congrats again and keep up the good work. Praise be to the Lord Almighty!

hey everybody! im new to the low carbing scene and this website. i just want to say all of you lookamazing ! im only 13 and yes i know some of you might say thats young to be on a diet, but myparents think it would be good for me. im currently at 160 lbs. my heaviest ever my goal is to lose about 32 lbs to get down to 128. i hope to reach my goal by my birhtday, may 26. so if anyone whos done their fair share of low carbing has any advice, id be glad to hear it!

okay, here goes...

This one was taken in the early part of 2004. Notice dog is small, Michelle is bigger!


This photo was taken on July 4th 2004....



This was right before thanksgiving.. notice dog getting bigger and I am shrinking!!!


This last picture was taken just before my hubby's Christmas party!!!



From 250ish pounds in July 2004, to 127 pounds now....

Thank you all for the compliments and encouragement. Yes, I have lost 125 pounds since June 2004. Two factors encouraged me to lose the weight. One was my blood pressure.. it had reached 150/95, not good. The second factor was my 6 year old son.

One day, we were at the base gas station, there was a lady next to us, filling up her car. My son asked if she had any kids. She said that she had a daughter but the she was big now. my son replied"you mean she is really fat like my mommy?" I was truly embarrassed. That's when I decided to do a major lifestyle change! Now my son's constant question is... "Mommy, are you going to the gym again?"

I am 5'1".. I am almost in maintenance mode.. I would like to see myself at 120 (4-5 pounds to go).

How how I started was that I knew I had to change the way I was eating. I wasn't overeating, I was just eating the very wrong things.. so I started living by a motto, "If my kids like it, I don't eat it". Then I knew that I was very much out of shape and needed to seek out an exercise program. Once I started out at the gym, then I saw a nutritionist. He kept me on track, so that I was not depriving my body of anything. That's pretty much it.....

But enough about me... I have been looking at all the pictures here.. You all have done an amazing job with yourselves, and you should all be very proud!!! The pictures speak for themselves!!! Congrats to each and everyone of you!!!
