Hi CanadianDina. Here are the quick references for KE and KK on LCF. You can find them under "Other Plans." If you do a search, you can probably find more information. I think there may also be a couple of related "Challenges" on the Challenge board.

I actually followed the KE portion of the KK program almost all the way to goal. My general rules that I stuck to was lean proteins, low fat. My numbers were usually around 70-80g protein per day, 20g fat, <20cb and around 600-700 cals. Funny thing was... because I jump started into ketosis... I wasn't hungry!!!

I think I have brain fog, but am I reading this right ? You ate 600-700 cals total a day for 5 months ?
Wow if that's true you should get an award for strength and fortitude.

Sorry that we all keep picking your brains, but did you have any cheat days ?
I tried 800 cals today and am about to raid the fridge....
But then again I do workout about 35-45 minutes a day.

LCHottie,

As always, you are a great inspiration!

Now this, my friends, is the benefit of REAL KETOSIS. No appetite. That's a beautiful thing for weight loss phases. I'm excited to see your transition to maintenance. I'm sure that beautiful baby in the pic is enough incentive to feed your body the most nutritious foods in the right amounts to maintain your new healthy weight. WTG!!!!

Jonahs granny

thread hijacking just to say something real quick. First of all everyone looks awesome! Secondly Jonahs granny you have got to be the nicest person ever!! Not only do you compliment everyone on their weight loss but you follow it up wth something nice about them (very pretty, nice smile etc) With all the negativity in this world people such as yourself are like a breath of fresh air. Your family and friends are very lucky.

Thank you so much HolyHottie!!! You look great too BTW!

You are so right... Sleek it really is true... once you get into REAL KETOSIS that appetite really does go away!! It's like a miracle!!! The only "cheats" that I had were a little alcohol here and there... I did get cravings... but I found that as long as I resisted... they got less and less to where now... it's not really that bad of a temptation and when I do get the urge... I've found ways to work around it and curb it very quickly.

I've been doing well with my weightloss but it finally stalled and since Im SO stressed with sick family members, I need something fast and that doesn't require tons of exercise.
Busy with Easter weekend, start Monday.

LCHottie07- I hope you get this!

HOLY MOLEY. NO FLIPPPING WAY!
Okay, I had to get that out of my system. I'm quite in the same situation as you, I started at 225, and my goal weight is 115, so about 110 pounds loss- I'm 16 years old, and 5'4". I've reached my half-way point in about 4 months, but WOW, I feel like such a loser (pardon the pun, i mean it in the negative connotation) next to you. HOW IN THE WORLD did you manage to lose 20 pounds a month without exercise? I'm dying to know! Please provide me with additional sample menus (preferably without abbreviations, I'm not too up on low carb lingo yet), I'm looking for a way to remove the rest of my excess weight rapidly, quite like you! Did you drink over a certain amount of water per day? Did you ever hit any stalls? How much weight would you lose per week? Just any kind of advice given would be so amazingly appreciated

Once again, congratulations! You're truly spectacular! And you look freaking gorgeous in your model-esque shots!

You have done an amazing job!

I was just wondering if you have a problem with sagging skin since you lost the weight? I want to lose about 50 lbs., and just I'm afraid that my skin won't 'bounce back' and will sag....of course I am quite a bit older than you, so that might account for some of my sagging...

I'm also curious about how your skin responded. I know many people - regardless of diet/speed of loss/exercise - need lifts and tucks because their skin wasn't as resilient as others. What is your skin like?

Sorry I've been AWOL lately to check in on this! It's been nuts lately!!!

I do still have some saggy skin.... thankfully not as much as I guess I could have... but... *sigh* none the less thanks to excessive over-eating and 2 babies... it's there. I'm planning on using excercise, body brushing and lotion as much as I can... and whatever that doesn't take care of, I will probably in the future have a little work done. But, that said, in the overall picture.. I'd much rather have the issue of a little saggy skin than the extra weight any day!!!
