I used a program incoporating very a very low carb/low fat and moderate protein regime. It worked WONDERS for me!! I am still pinching myself over the results! It really does amaze me looking at all the before/after pics how much younger everyone always looks after losing the weight! |

Thank you everyone for your encouragement!! In answer to your questions.. I think I'm about 5'6" and no I really didn't excercise that much either... just shifted my paradigms about my WOE. That and found fantastic support...
I know if I can do it... anyone can!!! |

I am speechless after looking at 27 pages of posts in this thread...
One thing that really stands out is how HEALTHY and glowing everyone looks after such significant weight loss on this WOE. Treat argument for the nay-sayers! |

C'mon, LC Hottie07, give us some more info please? It would be helpful to a lot of us if you would post your typical menus and the rules you stuck to. I would like to know also what portions you ate.
I may be stuck to being a slow loser due to a few health problems, but I'm still interested in tweaking my diet to see if I can speed things up a bit. Congrats also to the rest of you. It's very inspiring. |

Sorry Mermaid... I've been real busy today so I haven't been able to check in! I actually followed the KE portion of the KK program almost all the way to goal. My general rules that I stuck to was lean proteins, low fat. My numbers were usually around 70-80g protein per day, 20g fat, <20cb and around 600-700 cals. Funny thing was... because I jump started into ketosis... I wasn't hungry!!! I have since started excercising, however I've had to slack off for a little while due to knee surgery. ![]() |

A typical day while following my KE time: B: 3/4 cup EW sweetened w/ Davinci's Caramel, 1-2 cups coffee L: chicken "tortilla" soup (my own recipe - 1 can chicken broth, 4 oz boiled chicken breast - shredded, 1 tbls salsa, to taste: chili powder, Comino, salt, paprika, pepper, garlic powder, simmer and enjoy! )S: 1/4 cup SF Jello D: 6-8oz grilled salmon I drink crystal lite, flavored water and diet sodas as I like... Anyways this is just an idea of what my day might hold...

Thank you LC Hottie. Sorry to have been so insistent--I sure didn't think you needed to get right on and answer me, ha ha. I appreciate your sharing and look forward to reading your story in June.

![]() I'm in the midst of my maintenance transition right now actually! My general idea is to always keep my caloric intake at or right around 1300 cals (which right now to me seems soooo high... I still have a hard time bringing it up over 900! I hope this answers your question.. I've probably rambled on here a lot more than you wanted to hear... LOL OH well.... have a great day!! |
