Anyone Prego here? I have a question.

Hey all. I might just be being paranoid but I have a question. What was the signs of pregnancy you had? I have never been pregnant and I can't say I am or not yet (only 1 day late). But I have been having some strange things going on. My boobs were killing me the last 5 days and the pain has lessened a bit and they are a bit bigger. Also I have no PMS symptoms except that I have had a bit of pain in my lower abdominal area but not exactly cramping...kind of like a pulling feeling or something...weird!!! Let me know what you think.

If your boobs weren't hurting too, I would just say you had gas....lol

I would go buy a test!

I had the boob thing going on when I was prego. Most tests can tell you even if you're just 1 day late. I'd go buy one.

I noticed a week before TOM was due that my boobs were extremely sore. I also had the abdominal "tugging" feeling. I lightly spotted the day of my missed period and I thought that it was TOM. Nope. It was implantation and I ended up being pregnant. I would buy a test.

well..there really are lots of signs..this early..hard to say. But when I was preggers..my boobs we're killing me right away. ANd it's not uncommon to get small pinchy cramps when TOM should have come if preggers. Also..in the next few weks (although now you can get a p.g. test earlier then when I was pregers) other comn signs are frequent urination (lol yeah right..we're low-carbers) and fatigue. I actually got morning sicknes ( no idea why they call it this since I had it morning, noon and night!) very early..at about 3 weeks.

Hope things turn out the way you want..and keep us posted!!

My boobs hurt more when I was first pregnant than they do around TOM. They were extremely sore. Get the test! Let us know!

yes

boobs frightfully tender when pregnant...But can also be a sign of impending TOM...If you get a negative result on a test, keep me in mind, I didnt show up as positive until I was like 10 days late with both my boys!

Good Luck to you!

PS My birthday is the 24th of September also!

When my period was due, I had BAD cramps. I mean, HORRIBLE....never had em as bad as I did then, and they lasted a few days. Good times. My boobs hurt really bad, too.

Sounds like it to me. My main symptoms were an immediate need to get up multiple times at night to pee and strange half-crampy pulling sensations in the uterine area. With Domenic, I also had some light spotting that never turned into a period (implantation bleeding.) I never did get the sore breasts, although they did get a little more sensitive as pregnancy progressed, and you'd think I'd notice as I nursed my DD through my second pregnancy.

I'd go get a test. My first sign was sore boobs and highly sensitive to smells. But my boobs have also started hurting the past few cycles right before TOM. So who knows? The only way to know for sure is to test. Keep us updated!

Go steam some broccoli and if you vomit, you're pregnant.

BTDT, too.

I found nursing in pregnancy (the first time) very difficult. Worth it, but difficult. How long did you tandem nurse?

I don't know, I'll let you know when DD weans.

It really hasn't been that bad. I weaned DD down to just 1-2x a day during pregnancy. She ramped back up a bit after birth when my milk came in again. But I've since gotten her back to once every few days or so. Basically she can ask, but if I don't feel like it, we don't nurse. It's definitely more of a privilege than a right at this stage.

Tandem nursers. Wow, we're really freaks now.

I'll be 17 weeks on Tuesday! My first sign was that my middle back, just below my shoulder blades, were killing me! Also, I quit drinking coffee, couldn't stand the smell. That alone should have been my light bulb moment. My boobs didn't get sore until the next month.....

I got pregnant the first week of the month. By the end of the month I was feeling very crampy, like TOM was going to happen any second. Don't know what made me test, but glad I did!

I'd wait a week or two then test... Wait as long as you possibly can!

Best of luck!!

D~

FirstResponse conveniently comes in boxes of 3. This is extremely helpful for when you see a faint pink line on the first test you take but you don't believe it's true. Can't be! Test again! And again!

In both my pregnancies

Killer BOOBS...actually felt like I was tearing them off the bed in the morning...my dh (after the initial concern) thought this was hilarious.

And lower abomen weirdness...it felt like butterflies touching me or bubbles popping.

I'd get the test

Well let me give you the opposite thought too.... Are you on any hormonal birth control (pill, patch, shot)? The same thing happened to me in January. I had 5 pregnancy tests (2 at home, 1 urine, and 2 blood) performed. All were negative, but still no TOM. Finally by the second month I had seen my gyno. Her opinion was that since I'd been on the same pill for 5 years all of the estrogen had just built up in my body. She switched me to a progesterin only pill. That solved the problem. But believe me, before TOM came I was ready to cry from the breast pain. Good luck. I hope you get the answer you want.
