Need a Low Carb Buddy to Lose weight by Jan. 2010

I lost nearly 50 lbs. doing atkins about 3 years ago. I had a baby a year ago and I have went from 165 lbs to 202 lbs. I restarted atkins on October 1, 2010. It is the easiest diet I have ever done. However, I do love my junk food. I am hoping to lose the weight and then work on having the foods I enjoy only in moderation.

The first week I lost 7lbs, but I had cosmetic surgery and after surgery I weighed in at 199. After my second week I dropped back down to 196 lbs. I know I shouldn't but I must weigh myself daily. I weighed in at 193 on a Tuesday and on Wednesday I was back up to 194.2 lbs. I had a very salty meal yesterday and today I weighed in at 197. So today I am kicking up the water intake.

Anyone looking for a buddy to hold them accountable and to encourage them, then please join in and we will meet our goals

Omg I am at about the same weight you are.I am currently at 198 lbs! I also need help with support so let us push each ahead!!!

Hi ladies,

Mind if I post with you? I have a thread already started. We took a break for the summer and hooked back up in October. So far I have been posting mostly by myself. I miss my buddies and know I am more successful when I have someone to be accountable with and bounce ideas around with.

I started back seriously about 3 weeks ago. I actually started with exercising first then 2 weeks ago with the low carb. I have gone from 219 to 212. I feel less tired and I think i am sleeping better. I have noticed my clothes are less snug and although I haven't dropped as many pounds, I do think I am starting to tone up and obtain a little more muscle mass.

I too, tend to obsess with the scale and really have to keep myself from weighing every morning.

Okay well enough for now. You all be well and let me know if you think i would be a good fit for your thread.
