I have been doing this for 7 months and it's definately NOT a diet but a lifestyle. I'd love be pen-pals so we can motivate each other. What is your weightloss goal? What stage are you in? I'm in OWL but I tend to stick to 20-25 carbs a day. Email me anytime... wildflower459@hotmail.com

Hiya!
YES! I agree with you about the fact that this is a lifestyle and NOT merely a diet! Which is great, because I'm ready for a lifestyle change! It's so great that youve been doing this for 7 months! I myself am just starting up! And I'm finding that my body really is so addicted to sugar! How much weight have you lost since you started?
My goal is to lose 15-20 pounds. I would like to see it gone in the next three months but I wont be dissapointed if it's not because I know thats a pretty tight schedule. But I do exercise a lot so I hope that will speed things up! Are you a regular exerciser yourself? Hope to hear from you soon! Keep up the good work! ![]() |

I have lost 38lbs on this WOE. I feel 110% better..except that my new goal is to give up diet pop. I've been off of it since Thursday and I've had 2 migranes since! NOPE, I'm NOT addicted to caffeine! YA RIGHT! HEHE I think the key to this WOE is to tell yourself that you CAN do it. When I started I was very affraid to cheat.. heck I wish I was STILL afraid to cheat! The sugar w/drawl will go away. Once your out of induction I'd go and buy some carbolite candy bars or some Atkins endulge bars..they do wonders when you really NEED that chocolate fix!

Heya!
You're soooo right about those Atkins bars.......I have ordered some already but I wont touch them until I am out of induction and absolutely need a chocolate fix!
I hope you can wean yourself off that diet soda! Fortunately, my mom never let me drink it as a kid so I never got addicted to it! I've only been on this WOE for 4 days but I'm in ketosis as of today.......the pee stick went purple!! I dont know if I've lost any weight yet but my pants are looser for sure! And that feels good! I dont feel so fat and bloated anymore!Post back here!!! Looking forward to hearing from ya! Keep it up! Hopefully I'll last 7 months! ![]() |

Isn't it COOL when you get to that point that you no longer feel bloated and yucky!? I think it's something that you really can't explain to someone who hasn't experienced it.. kind of like what it feels like to be pregnant. LOL. That is one of the many reasons I love this WOE. I feel so much better when I'm eating properly. When I go off this WOE and I eat bread..I feel like CRAP for 2 days afterward until my sugar levels get back under control. I have done really well following this WOE. I do occasionally cheat, but they are usually planned cheats, like holidays..or if I'm sick then I eat whatever I want and the next day I'm right back on track.
I really want to encourage my dad to try this WOE. He's rather heavy and he'd feel 110% better, but I'm not sure the best way to approach him. How are you doing with induction? It's kind of hard, but if you put your mind into it you can get thru it. I was so determined to change my life that I don't even remember struggling thru those 14 days. ![]() What exercise routines are you into? I wanted to get up this morning and do my tae bo tape, but I had a migrane and had to sleep it off. I should be out of the migranes here soon. It's almost been a week since my last pop. ![]() |
