Challenge/Motivation Week 3 .... Start Date... Sunday, June 15th

Challenge: Workout at least 3 days a week (if you do more than 3 days - MARVELOUS - LET'S US KNOW !)At the end of each week (Saturday) you will post your exercise results or you can do it daily or whenever you complete your 3 days whichever is best for YOU !

*****(Example: Day 1 / 30 min on treadmill/2.2 miles/200 calories burned or Day 1/ 20 min. of jumping rope)

*****Goal: TO MOVE THE BODY... TO LOSE YOU'VE GOT TO GET MOVING !!

Ladies, let's move past ANY excuses to get our body moving and JUST DO IT. There are lots of ways to exercise besides going to a gym, such as... jumping rope, get a fitness DVD and do it from the comfort of your own home, walk around a track at a local school or park, so...

Good Afternoon Ladies,

I'm so sorry for being late with reposting the rules of our Week 3 Challenge (Cynt - I copied what you posted before, hope that's ok?). I've completed my Father's Day duties and now it's time to relax.

I can honestly treat myself to the American Express Card this week

. I got er in

. 2 days of 100 jumping jacks, 50 situps, and 50 crunches. Completed a mile walk on the nature trail at the Park with the kids yesterday. I will work harder this week.

What I'm most grateful for today:

The fact that God chose to bless me and hubby with such loving boys. They truly make our world go round and round. We found just the right card for DH for Father's Day and they were happy to present it to him. Thank you Lord for all that you are doing in our lives today.

Happy Monday !

What I'm most grateful for today, is that God is lining things up in my house, and HE is giving us ULTIMATE favor in all things. Everything we touch is blessed and everything we put our hands to; HE is in the midst. He woke me up this morning , my family, and the lovely ladies here that I chat with on LCF. I'm truly grateful

Hey Ladies!! I found the new thread!!! YAY! Thanks for getting us on our way Meek!!

I had a very busy and eventful weekend. Friday night, my husband invited some friends over and we had a little mini cookout. We made steak, burgers and hotdogs. Then Saturday, I got up and and went to the nail salon to get my nails done, then came home and took my kids to the mall to pick out Father's Day cards and gifts. After that, my husband and I were invited to a b-day party for a friend who turned 40. That was a lot of fun. We stayed out too late that I missed church yesterday. I really had plans to go so that is unfortunate. I have a friend here on LCF that lives near me. She just hooked me up with some really good churches in the area I can try. I am praying one of them will be a place for my family to worship. Ok, back to my weekend. Sunday, we were getting ready to go to a friends house since she made a huge dinner for all of the fathers when my son hit his face on the floor and knocked out his front tooth. I have to take him to the dentist today to have it looked at. I paged then yesterday and when she called back she seemed optimistic that he hadn't damaged his permanent tooth but to be sure I am taking him in for x-rays today. Pray for us ya'll. That was a bit scary. More for my husband than anyone. I will update after the appointment.
