Looking for a buddy...similar to me.

Hi
I am a 33 year old wife and mother of 5 children who works full time as a RN. I am from Illinois and I want to lose 120lbs. I am 275lbs. I have not been obese my whole life, just since babies (and marriage) and have managed to gain over 100lbs in the last 12 years.

Soooooo, if anyone here is interested....... I'd love a buddy!

Hi there Jennifer!!! Welcome to LCF. I am sure you will find someone similar to you. This is a wonderful site and everyone is so friendly and helpful. Have you started a certain diet regimen or have one in mind that you would like to try? I am a RN as well. Seems to be a lot of nurses on this site. I chat under a few threads. One with choconut, swinglow, and purtlilady. Holler if you can't find one you like or need help. You can ususally find me in one of those threads. Be well and nice to meet you

hey chamie! I started out at 292 lbs.- so i'm not that far ahead of you. this woe is well worth it as long as your patient and loving towards yourself. i would love to buddy up with you on this board or in snail mail.

Hi Chamie! I am a nursing student graduating in december, mom to 2 (6yo and 2yo) and I am so ready for an accountability buddy. I have gotten 20 lbs off so far, but I need to ramp things up over summer before school starts back up in the fall. I have 80lbs to go to get to the top range for my height. I would love to buddy up!

I am new to the boards and need a buddy as well. Im 27, married, no kids, and work in Insurance from home. Ultimately I'd like to lose about 130-150lbs. Right now I am just focusing on losing 50lbs.

Hi guys can i jump in also?? Im new to posting but couldnt resist the idea of buddies to help get through this LC WOE. I have been on this now for three weeks and lost 7 in the first week.

Then up 3 lbs!

Not sure why, i havent changed anything. Will NOT get down though. I have will power and hopefully some new friends to share things with

Hi barbievicki! Are you getting enough water in? If not you could be retaining fluid. Don't let it get you down. If you are following the plan you will do well.

I think i am getting enough but then i will get an eye twitch or muscle twitch and i know that means im slightly dehydrated.

It so hard to drink when you just dont feel thirsty you know?

I try and stay fairly possitive, i know we are going to have our ups and downs but when you play the game to a T you expect to win once in awhile. I will double up on the water starting right now. Thanks
