If any of you ever go to the dollar stores they have alot of boxed cards really cheap. Also all sorts of note paper to send a short message on.
They even sell greeting cards of all kinds two for a dollar.. I have a box full of them so when I need a card I already have it for any occassion. I like the cards that are blank on the inside to so I can write my own message.

Not much with me today, our daughter came over today for4 awhile and we had lunch, she bought us a taco salad.

Jessi, usually I just answer each person's letter as I get them. Some of the people in this group haven't ever written me back yet, so I'm not sure how everyone else does it. Some of the ladies may be really busy. I haven't see some of them post in awhile. I hope everything is okay

commit suicide & it is a horrible thing for

I finally got letters/notes in the mail to Mary and Coriss. Everything here seems to have been hectic lately. Better now. Hope you are all having a great week-end.

Sure had a busy week-end here. Ready for a good night's sleep, I hope.

Had news tonight of a cousin's sudden death from a heart attack. He was 58. What is so odd is that this is my 3rd male first cousin to die of a heart attack in 6 months! Their ages were: 45, 47, 58. The 45 yo one had 3 kids under 10. Also, another female cousin died 3 yrs ago of same thing. She was in her 50's. Before this, I don't remember anyone in my large extended family to die of one, or it was so long ago that the memory is gone from our family.

It makes me think we should really live more heart-healthy in this country, including me of course. Sad topic, but maybe we do all need to remember this is the biggest or close to biggest killer today.

1. I just came in to check on this group. Hope you are all doing great. Waiting to hear from another person. Our power was completely out for 2 days from the storms, but back on fine now. I missed being on the computer the most. Well that and cooking We are doing good, but my large town is still in a tizzy with never-before seen outages...many stores, offices, schools closed all week, etc. Hard to find good fresh veggies and fruit and even dairy. I will have to drive to another store about 15 miles away to obtain those items, I hope! I really feel sorry for those elderly/sick/alone/with families and kids and babies....because here it is just my dh and myself and we can manage. All of our kids called and wanted us to come but we decided to be brave and get thru the first night...then the next evening the power was back, so...not too bad for me. Some of those storm victims truly need our help and our prayers.

I know how it is when your computer is down, mine was down not long ago because the lightning got to it. I had it in the shop for a few days and but was told it was no good so I had to go shopping for a new one. I was without my computer for almost two weeks and I went crazy.
But I will write her and let her know we are all thinking of her.
