anyone interested in a snail mail pal?

To all my snail mail pals that I owe letters to:

We were out of town for a few days.


While we were gone, I had been having severe headaches to the point that I could hardly sleep or work. Ended up going to the dentist to rule that out and had oral surgery. I am still on pain meds but am feeling better.

I will be writing to those I owe letters to, as soon as I am fully better.

Hello! How are all the snailmail ladies doing?

Hope those of you I write recently have received your letters and looking forward to hearing from the rest of you.

Just wanted to say hello and see how everyone is doing.
I want to get some more mail out to this coming up week to all my snail pals. I sent everyone a card when we first began this but just have not written since but will this week.

Do any of you go to the Dollar General Store? If you do you can find little boxes of cards there for $1.50. Some of the ones I sent you already is where I got them at.
When ever I go there I always check out the cards. The bigger cards on the shelves are two for a dollar. You can get birthday cards , anniversary cards, any kind you want all two for one dollar. They are nice cards to. I keep a plastic bin full of them so when I need a card i just look in there to find one. I keep all sortments of cards in it and I get them all from the Dollar General Store.

Just wanted to let you all know that I'm ok but have been overwhelmed by the flooding here (Cedar Rapids area) and am slow replying or getting new letters out. I'll get to them eventually, though, I promise! We finally have mail service again -- it was closed due to the flood for several days. Hope you all are doing well where you are!

No, we're lucky in that our little town is fine. Just lots of people and places we know are affected, and especially Jeff's workplace. (He works at Mercy Hospital, which had to shut down and evacuate all the patients. It's a real mess trying to get it back up and running, and he's exhausted. It's just gonna take time...)

I had intended to get you all some cards out last week but unfortunately on Wednesday I got a bad sore throat and had to see the doctor and he ssid I had streph throat. They did a throat culture. He put me on anti botics and something for the nausea to. I felt awful all week long, just beginning to feel better today.
I just stayed in bed most times sipping on ice to cool my throat.

But i will get the cards out this week ok.

Corris, I think we all should tell the others on here alittle about ourselves like you did.

As for me I am 62 yrs. old, married for 40 yrs. Retired from the school system.
My husband land I ove to cook together and we also grow our own vegetables in alittle garden we have in the back yard.
We have a cat and we love to travel and we love to go to the beaches and walk in the white sand and wade in the ocean.
Ok thats me...How about you all....
