Newbie looking for support

Hello.......
I am looking for newbies or even oldtimers on this diet to be pen pals with. I am a newbie on this diet. I am in my 6th day and have lost 9 lbs with 41 lbs to go. I live in Washington State and love to chat. I am looking for someone to swap success stories, recipies or even ideas with. I have found that this diet can be a very lonely one and that alot of other people just don't understand it at all. If you would like to email me or write a post it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Crystal

HI,
I just started 7 days ago, and i know what you mean, it's hard to get it right on this diet, as far as meal planning. I eat a lot of eggs. I haven't weighed myself, i'm waiting for the 15th. I would like to help each other out if you like. Take care

Thin2003,
Thank you for replying. You will be amazed at what you will come up with for meals. I fry sausages and keep them in the fridge to snack on. When you have meat for dinner, take some of it the next day with a salad for lunch. Eggs.....well those are an easy thing to do things with. Deviled eggs in the fridge are a good quick snack. You can make egg salad, tuna salad, or chicken salad and use Romaine lettuce. Just spread on lettuce and roll up, it makes for somewhat of a sandwich and is rather good. Try to drink half of what your weight is in water, you will notice a difference. Cheese is a good thing to eat, but limit it to 4 oz daily. Suger-free Jello with whipped cream makes a great dessert. Just a few ideas, hope it will help.

Hi, theracingangel Thanks for the ideas. Today i had a boiled egg and 2 pices of bacon and for lunch i had a ham salad, I messed up b/c although the dressing said there was no sugar, the ingreidents said it was. So if you have any ideas on salad dressing for induction let me know. good job on the ten pounds keep up the good work. I won't know mine until the 15th.

Thin,
Try mixing olive oil with mayo and mustard with your choice of seasonings. I am not sure of the measurements but I just go by taste. I hope this works, it really does make a great salad dressing.
Thank you again,
Crystal

Thanks theracingangle, that sounds good why didn't i think of that. I have to learn how to just put the things we can have together, it just feels strange when your not use to doing it. How long are you going to stay on induction? My sister stayed on induction for 8 months and lost 100 pounds. That sounds good to me so i plan on staying on for and extended time. I don't have 100 pounds to lose i just have 60 to lose. Well let me get back to work, i will ckeck in again after work. Take care and good job on your progress keep up the good work. I'm still learning how to do this site so my posts might look weird at times.
