Hi Ana , Ive been a member here for awhile but never really posted.
I live just north of Auckland.

Im starting out again fresh after 4 months of mucking about and regaining 30 pounds

I am so dissapointed in myself but this time this year I REALLY mean business. Hey I thought I did last year but I proved myself wrong.

This time is not a dress rehearsal, THIS IS IT time is passing me buy and Ive wasted enough of it.

Lets help each other

Hey there!

Im a 26 year old, currently living in New Plymouth.
I started the Atkins diet yesterday and so far am finding it reasonably easy.
Just really hard knowing exactly what you can and cant have in induction!
I too would like to find some support from other kiwi's who are low-carbing!!

HI Quikchick was my first day back to LC 100% yesterday too.
Two days down whewee, it gets easier every day form here on in!!

Do you have the book??
If not a few basics before you get a hold of it;
if its derived form a grain DONT EAT IT!
starchy vegies are OUT too

GREENS are IN as are all natural proteins (im sure you know that)

No fruit on induction. You can have cream, cheese and butter but no milk.

Forget about calories and fat just concentrate on the cutting of those carbs at least to start with. Dont go trying to eat none though or will feel awful, that is not what Atkins is about. You should feel wonderful very soon. Eating plenty of the allowed foods is the only way i can stick with it when Im getting started.

What are your weight loss goals if I may ask??
I want to lose at least 40 pounds, ideally 50.
keep in touch
