hey texas girls. I am just re-starting low carb, really doing adkins. I too am in texas, started this weekend. I had lost 50 pounds a few years ago, but gained some back. you know, a divorce, new baby life changes. I need to lose another 50 to get to my goal. I am also the sort of person that need encouragment because my family loves me the way I am. I am very excited this time around because ther are more websites and recipes than ever! I am 42 and have 4 kids....I guess you could call them 3 adults and a new baby, but at 7 months I can hardly keep using her as an excuse to be chubby! so, y'all keep in touch and let me know how your doing!
Pam (too), in Texas. |

Texas??? WOOHOO!!!
Ya got another one here!! ![]() Hi Tx Charity, txprincess and pam I've been doing the recipe search all day, I can hardly believe all the lucious sounding stuff I've been finding!! I just can't wait till I've lost the first 15#s or so and go on OWL. (I've set myself to stay on induction until I've lost at least 15#s) I know charity is in DFW, princess aren't you in SA? And of course you can see I'm in Austin (area actually). Where you hail from pam?

sorry lady texan - pam and txprincess are the same. I just put my name on the end so y'all would have a name. yep. SA is my home. staying on induction for 15# is a good idea. I have not weighed, although I backslid a bit on friday, it wasn't too bad. hopped right back on board this weekend. I feel like my clothes are fitting better but I am afraid to weigh. going to give it another week before I brave the scales. hope everyone else is doing ok, I fixed some chicken last night that was so good I did not miss the potatoes at all.
