New and looking for lot's of support
Hi,
My name is Karen and I am new to this site. After reading several success stories I decided this was a necessary step for me. I am 42 years old and in need of losing at least 80 pounds. I have never been successful on any diet so I am in need of lot's of support from anyone willing to help! Please feel free to e-mail me at kis13@att.net Thank you and wish me luck. |

Hi Karen!
Although I started on Atkins, I've "tweeked" and changed my plan to something else on the low carb spectrum. However, I found that I could be pretty creative in the way of dinner or lunch salads by starting with a basic salad and adding different meats, shrimp, etc. and different salad dressings. Shrimp & blue cheese was a yummy combo. I also find that cooking meats in a crockpot not only makes them very tender, but usually the leftovers good for a lunch salad. Come visit us at Fabulous 40's #15 and you can ask the others for more ideas! |
