Well queens im doing good, i ate on plan and exercised today 40 mins swimming. Im getting a facial today so thats exciting I also got the minister all worked out for the wedding, i found it a bit expensive but what ever.....i cant wait until friday to finally get a day off

Hope all is well with everyone, i gotta get back to work...

Early morning post for me...

Morning to you all!

Thought I'd get here early today so that there is NO excuses for me not to post. If I wait til later in the day, I get lazy or I forget all together.

Things are going good for me, I can't complain at all. I feel really refresh today compared to being so sluggish while in my carb haze. Only thing is I have some stress in my neck area, not sure what that is about.

Yesterday I altered my menu AGAIN *L*. I had 2 coffee's w/protein and a protein drink, 2 solid meals and a snack. I know that is bad and I'm doing things different today. I will eat earlier so that I can at least get 3 solid meals and then add protein powder in between so that I can get my protein needs in for the day.

I will post my menu later, in the event that I change it again *L*. I'm sure I probably will change it.

I did get my exercise, vits and fluids in yesterday so that was good. I'm going to exercise in a bit, also.

Liz: Thanks for starting off our Dec thread.

Good for you on your up coming day off. I'll bet you can't wait! Also good to see that you found your minister, too. I'd imagine as all things fall into place, you will be much less stressed.

Deb: so good to see you here!

I'm sorry to hear that you are struggling. Sometimes it helps if we take things one small step at a time. I felt so out of control as well and I'm still struggling to rebound. It isn't easy but I'm not giving up. I had to finally tell myself, this is like fighting for my life. I'd never give up in a fight for my life, so why do I feel it exceptable to give up on making the life that I have healthier and happier?

I pray that things get better for you soon. It's tough when every cloud looks like a rain cloud...hang in there .

Lori: Hope you are doing well.

Well, I have to go exercise now. I have to pretend to love it cuz otherwise I will find every reason NOT to do it *L*.

Good Morning Queens

Well I feel good, a bit tierd but ok. Ive been eating ok, i cut out snacking last night so thats good, Im eating reasonable...i find im eating too much for dinner so i need to fix that. Miles should get home tonight so im excited I miss him a lot when he is gone.

Deb: I hope your ok? I struggle all the time but all i can do is keep trying. You can do this deb *hugs*

Cassandra: Sounds like your one busy woman. I am too, yesterday i didnt get home until almost 10 PM i was gone from home for 12 hours, CRAZINESS...i did get my facial and i feel good...I cant wait to go visit my in laws...its exciting..i hope i dont get stressed with all the wedding stuff.

Late logging in today...

Howdy all,

My day has been running behind the whole day. I woke up late today and of course that pushed everything back for me.

I've not done well at all with my veggie intake today. Since I started everything late, didn't have anything until about 12:45p today, I had to keep the focus on protein. Not much time or room for anything else.

Menu:

Protein drink
Protein coffee = 2
Broiled-chicken fried pork
Roasted turkey
Part of a power crunch protein bar
Snickers Marathon low carb protein bar

Exercise:

SI6....Ramp It Up...Yep, I've moved on to the next level.
Today was not bad with it, I'm very surprised by this. I guess not having so much more weight to exercise with, makes a huge difference. I'm definitely motivated to keep on going...

Fluids:

Yep, running behind on this just a bit.
100oz

Vits:

Still need Calcium before bed..others? Done!

My protein grms = 151

I'm calling this a good day, over all. Tomorrow might be another challenge, I'll be out most of the day. I always get tripped up on things when I'm gone all day. I'll try and prepare by throwing some kipper and a protein bar into my lunch bag.

Happy Monday to you all!

Just checking in, late again. I have been behind schedule on everything lately. It all started on Friday, which is why I have not posted any days menu since then. I'm still moving behind today.

It's been quite busy with all of the issues w/ the weather. I've been running around trying to prepare for the big storm that we are suppose to get tonight, into tomorrow.

I've been able to keep up with vits, water (cept Sunday, I got in about 100 oz) and exercise. I didn't get online to do my fitday but I do know that I didn't get my protein grms in, nor was my intake good at all. Infact, it was way to low. So I'm working on my plan and hope to get better perpared for being on the run.

I weighed in @186 today, so I'm showing a 2lb loss for last week. I've decided to only post weight ONCE a month. At which time I will change my stats under my avi.

Liz and Deb: Also wanted to check in to see how Liz and Deb's weekend getaways went. I hope you both had a good mini vacation. Hope to hear about all of the fun you had when you get a chance to post.

Lori: Hope you aren't getting to overwhelmed with work and I hope you and your family are doing well.

MIA Queens: I hope you are all doing well and enjoying the holiday seasons.

wow ive been out of the loop here.. sorry.. working all the time really makes time fly for me.. i get home and its eat and get kids ready and go to bed.. sorry.. its just gonna get worse from now on.. when i start working evenings.. i won't have any puter time but on weekends... well i know ive gained weight in my tummy.. but im gonna try really hard starting next week to start excersizing.. and if that doesn't work ill start excersizing when i go in at noon ill run on the tred in the morning.. but im not at all worrying about eating stricked till after new years if even then.. we will see. well i got to get supper luv all.. and ill be more personal later..

Monday's menu, exercise, fluid intake and vit check...

What I ate/am eating today:

Protein drink... Ham, Turkey Pastrami, green onion, cheese salad....Broiled chicken legs....broiled catfish....Pork Hock's....Jalapeno's w/cream cheese, green onions and spices (a lower carb version of Jalapeno Poppers)..... probably a South Beach Diet Protein Bar....should I get the hocks and Jalapenos in AND the SBDB, I will have..146g of protein for the day

I got all my vits and supps in

I really lacked on my water/fluid, trying to get more in as I type this...have in about 75oz at this point.

Exercise...did about 40-5 mins...Walk Away the Pounds 1 mile w/water balls and Denise Austin's Blast off 10lbs, kick boxing.

Sounds like you are to busy to breathe. I totally understand, just doesn't seem like enough hours in the day, does it?

I'm sure when you get use to your new schedule, you figure out what your plans needs to be. Post when you can....

Hello Queens

I got a stomach flu or something so ive been hurting since saturday. My trip was a slight disaster, I got the flowers taken care of but were not the ones i wanted....because its february. Cake was a huge stress, the baker was an arse and i had no time to find someone else so i just got what he suggested. Then when everything was well at dinenr miles parents drop a B O M B...they advised me miels brother is bringing his GF...and lets just say i dont really enjoy her company let alone have her in my intimate FAMILY wedding. Worst part is she has never visited so you know the WHOLE weddign will eb about her, and everyone flocking to her and askign HER questions etc...i find it VERy stressful and it makes my stomach turn, i feel like its not my wedding anymore.....now there will be 8 people staying at miles parents home, 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms...how will i do this???? I feel so sick just thinking about this shitty situation

anyways i ate off plan and im sure i will gain...i will see

DEB: How was your weekend getaway? hopefully better than mine.

Overall, another good day!

I have read more of the book that I started last week (Stop Over Eating For
Good), I'm almost done. The book isn't about being on a diet, I'm happy about that. I figure I know how to diet, I need to figure out how to deal with reason I over eat. I'm going to need to re-read a couple of sections but overall the advice is helping me quite a bit.

I will say that I would have likely not been as receptive to what the doc says in this book 2 yrs or so ago. It's definitely something you have to read when you are ready to REALLY figure out the eating issues that you may have.

Liz: Good to see you back and posting. I'm sorry that you weren't feeling well and you didn't have a great weekend away.

I always thought the wedding is suppose to be about what the BRIDE wants. Can you ask that Miles, brother leave the girlfriend home? Are you and Miles staying at his parents home to? If so, perhaps you all can arrange for hotel plans now with this new development?

I've been watching Bridezilla's and it alway seems that their will be something that goes wrong, like you cake guy. I sure hope everything else plays out much smoother for you from here on out. Weddings are stressful enough as it is.

Thanks for the compliment...no need to be jealous *L*. It isn't easy but I know that I have to do this if I want to get to goal and keep it off. I've failed to many times before, this time I'm trying to eliminate anything that could possibly derail me. I know that I won't be perfect all the time (just screwed up over the weekend) but I have to keep trying. I'm sure when the stress of your wedding is done, you will get back on with things... and more

good afternoon

well im slowly getting better, only thing i can eat really is LC bread, grapes and yogurt....and water

I will try and exercise today and see how i feel.
I tried talking to miles' mom but really its all " i will try to figure some different arrangement when she comes" but no Oh we wont invite her....I feel annoyed but at the same time we did put Guest on the invitation...anywyas im getting stressed just talking about it....

Not so good day here...

Hey Queens,

Here I am to post my day, not to thrilled about my intake. Won't beat myself up though, it is what it is at this point. I will work harder to do things differently tomorrow.

I woke up late again, not sure why I'm so tired lately. It could be the added exercise, it usually takes me a while to get acclimated to a new regimen. I won't freak about my fatigue just yet. I did do all I could to get my protein up since I started so late, though.

Here it is:

Yep, you read it here, I skipped lunch. Not something I'm proud of but I noticed before I started post my menus it was happening to frequently then to. So posting what I eat daily has helped me to open my eyes and have shown me where I could use improvement. Nothing like a learning experience right...

Good thing is, I finished my book. I have lots of work to do in order to put what I learned into action.

I also think me reading that book is keeping me from over eating and might be having the opposite affect, which isn't good. I'm learning to counteract the emotions that drives me to over eat. Since surgery I don't generally over eat in one setting, I have been grabbing for food way to often. I need to find a balance, I feel pretty equipped to began putting into action what I learned. I just have to make charts and such.

Any who, I will continue to improve no matter what!

Liz: I'm sorry about your frustration. I'm sure things will be just fine. Sometimes we get worked up over something unnecessarily. We then find other ways around a tough patch and all is well.

You need to just focus on you ON your special day and the lovely man that you are preparing to form a union with...all else will fall into place!

Well it's late and I need to get to bed.

hey ladies.. well I thought i posted yesterday i guess not.. dang time flies..

well my job is going good i start talkin with customers on monday so tomorrow is my last day of learnin in the class room.. the cash will be good when i actually see it after christmas.. my next check is totally christmas cause we have had no money for any kind of shopping.. so after december we can breath again... and mabey get away for a weekend... my eating is horrible snack snack snack.. but i already said that im not doing anything till after new years.. well you all look like your doing good on your eating plans.. i hope all is well with everyone..

Well Im here, i only exercised twice last week and ate offplan, not a lot but enough...i was stress eating...i even ate a stupid breakfast sandwich today cause i was hungry and at the airport and there was nothing else oh well i will exercise tonight i hope and will try to avoid temptations. Im still at 175....so no loss no gain....im scared to try my wedding dress on again eeek

HI-NEWB

I started induction a week and a half ago. Terrible Timing-4 the holidays!

My start weight is 185lbs. I lost 5 the 1st week.

I have to get down to 140 to meet my BMI.

Has anyone felt a burn, or aches when walking? Mostly in my shoulders and

calfs.

hey ladies.. things are going good busy as normal but im really likin my job i got graded on a call this morning and i got a 100 so im really happy since its only my 2nd day on the phones by myself.

cassandra thanks for the thoughts how are you doing with the diet..

my eating habits are still horrible as to be expected..lol..

my and the dh went and got the kids their christmas presents.. this year kinda sucks cause we cant even buy for our parents or grandparents.. but they all understand.. it just make me feel bad.

well i hope everyone has a merry christmas..

HEY QUEENS

Hope everyone had a great christmas
I was in new brunswick (east coast) for christmas day and Atlanta for boxing day. I did a lot of exercise before i went and im hoping to start up sunday again. I ate way off plan, i couldnt find any reasonable choices at the airports

Anyways i will be leaving monday again for Quebec city with Miles, Im hoping it will all work out and miles meets me there as planned, hopefully his schedule will not change and im stuck in a french speaking city.

Shootoo Hows induction going? I dont experience any discomfort at all usually....but after a hard workout i do but not during...

Lori: Glad to hear the job is going well. im sure you will get back in to the swing of things once the holidays are over .

Cassandra: How are you? how is everything and everyone doing????

Lizett: Ya hopefully I can get back on track its gonna be harder this time cause im not too motivated but we will see

my computer has been down for about a week my firewall messed up.. it still is so ive got to do a bunch of work to it.. work is going great. its is really mentally exhausting though.. cause alot of people are mad cause their phone got turned off. and i want to just say hey pay your bill and it won't get turned off dur.. but i cant. .. lol.. well ive got to go manage my bills ..
