penpal with a newbie?

Hi there, I am new to the atkins diet and have weaned myself off of caffine for the last week and am starting this diet as I type this. I love this website, lots of good information, actaully most of my questions have all been asked before and reading the previous posts really helps. I am just looking for someone to relate to on this journey. Not sure if I am alone here or not but I am recovering addict with 7 1/12 years clean, a wonderful mother of two teenage daughters although they might think differently

and a awesome son who is 9. I had a complication from a hysterectomy in 2001 (blood clot to lung) which made me realize that I want to live a healthy life, I want to get back to my normal weight I have about 100lbs to loose and would love to hear about others journey through this.
