scared newbie looking for friends

Hi, I'm doing Atkins again. The first time around I was doing good. Now I'm just trying again. I'm a little embarrassed .I do have before[now] pictures. Maybe that can wait for now. I just wanted to say hello and if you would like to talk then Great! Thank you.

beutflhrt. I'm not really a newbie, but I'm restarting induction again and would love to chat to you!

I've been having so many struggles the past few months that I really think I need to get back to basics and keep it simple and see how I go.

Hopefully we can both get this sorted.

Hi there! Thanks for replying. Wasn't sure there for a moment with so many members. I'm having a difficult time as well - getting moving that is. Eating is a semi problem because I'm frozen. I can't seem to eat anything and what I do eat would be like 2 porkchops on one day or a chicken thigh and leg. Yesterday I ate nothing, so I need to work on getting hungry *sigh* as well as getting moving. I've started stretching and doig 10lb dumbells. It's so sad because we do have a treadmill and a look-a-like bowflex in the house, however I can seem to go near them :-( Dunno why my mind won't let me at least try. I did lose 9 pounds since the 26th, but I'm sure that's water.

Hi beutflhrt. I don't have a problem with not eating. I have a problem with eating too much! I seem to have got things under control this week though so hopefully getting rid of the water weight I gained recently with all the junk I ate.

I also don't do any real exercise I used to cycle home from work, and then do a 20km cycle, but now that I've changed jobs I find I'm too lazy to get out and do it! Also about 2 months ago I got a dvt, so couldn't do much exercise anyway with a hugely swollen leg.

I think for now I will just try to concentrate on the eating side of things and worry about the exercise later!

Hi everyone
I am brand new I actually just found this site yesterday...while i was looking for somewhere to purchase low carb foods. I am so ready to lose this extra weight I am at my all time high of 196, and I feel awful... I am nervous about failing but I do have my mind set I just dont like how i look or feel anymore which is effecting me and everyone around me. I would love to get down to 145 sounds like a dream.. and it would be great if i could hang and talk with people who are going through the same things.

HI, just found this site today. I have been low carbing since 2005, have lost 15 lbs, would like to make my first goal of 130, then I'll see where to go from there.
My doc is so happy as my labs are looking great, cholosterol, blood sugar, etc.
I know low carbing works, but I am having trouble going it alone.

Would love to have some penpals for accountability/support.

I can't do this alone. Help!
