wow 50 pounds!!! that is great.... Your doing wonderful. I still have 75 pounds to lose but that is better than 95 that I had to lose last year at this time. So at least I went down over the year instead of up. Well I am 30, married 6 years and have a 21 month old.

Well keep up the good work and email me.

Hi ladies. Well I have been locarbing since mid Oct. I just lost 20#'s. I've been married a little less than a year, but we are about to mark our 6 year anniversay of being together. We have 3 children and are a military family. I have 70#'s to go. I'm trying to have most of it gone by June 03. I excersise daily so hopefully that will help. If you want to keep in touch. Just let me know. Maybe we can start a daily thread on the challenge board, plus email each other.

20 pounds is great. How old are your kids? I feel like I am in the military sometimes with the way we move around so much. Great to hear from you.

Hi Christa. My children are 10, 2, and 1. They are a handful. My two year old in in the mist of the terribles and my 1 year old is trying to start. Most of the time its pretty funny to watch. My 10 year old gets a big laugh out of the babies. He is a awesome help.

I haven't moved at all. I'm actually a Virginia native. My DH is from Arkanas. He's been stationed here for 9 years. This area is pretty nice. So I don't know when we will make plans to relocate. Where are you from orginally?

How are you enjoying your WOE/WOL? Is it what you expected so far? I've really enjoy it. Its a change for the better. I didn't have any health problems or anything like that. I just always said that when I had my last child that I would lose the weight. Well that time has come.

Well I going to go excersise now. I'l be on during the day from time to time. I'm a stay at home mom. I watch a few other children to.

Jordan will be two in March and she is still very polite and laid back. She still hasn't shown any signs of willfull disobedience or rages. She is really mellow with others and is always giving stuff away to the other kids instead of taking. We have been really consistant with discipline since she was little so maybe that has helped her. I'll know more on that theory when I have another one down the road. hehehe....... For the most part though she is a breeze. Just minds her own business and plays with her toys.

I am not sure what woe or wol are but if it refers to the diet. I am doing great. 5 pounds down 75 to go. I feel much better, less bloated, more energetic. I am also a stay at home mom. I am on yahoo messenger when I am home. My handle is christawood@yahoo.com. Do you use an instant messenger. Yahoo works best for me because that is what all my friends use.

Well I am off to eat breakfast, Talk to you later.

Sounds Good!

Well I am very interested in doing this journey with both of you! I don't have any kids but I live with my boyfriend (we have been together for 5 years). I am 27 and Italian, so you now what I grew up on! Back in October a friend of mine asked me to be in her wedding, and when I went to get fitted, I couldn't even get the dress zipped up! The biggest size they went to was a 24 for that particular dress. I then decided that it was time to do something before it gets any worse. My Dad is diabetic now, and I am going down the same road. So I am going to put a stop to it now. I also use yahoo messenger Christa.... TLM144 and my email is TLM144@YAHOO.COM. Feel free to email me, it is pretty cool that we all have close to the same amount to lose now! I am looking forward to it!

Hi girls. My handle on yahoo mesenger is mz_desz.

Christa, my first son was a breeze....my middle son is a little more willful, but not outrageous. He is in the "NO" stage now. I didn't go through this with my oldest. Since my daughter is right behind him and watching, I know I'm gonna get it from her to.

You will see WOE (way of eatting)/ WOL (way of life) often on the boards.

Tracy, my future health had me doing some soul searching to. I haven't had any symptoms, but what if.....I'm finish with babies so I might as well get my lazy butt up and do something.

Ok I'm gonna add both of you to my yahoo messenger now.

You need to stay under 20 carbs. You can eat all meats, eggs, cheese, most veggies except corn and potatoes and carrots. Cream Cheese and sour cream are ok. It would help you to go to www.atkinscenter.com. there is a wealth of info there. It's not to hard once you learn the rules. It gets easier as you go.

okie dokie

So I can eat as much meat as I want right, I mean I am eating steak and feel guilty, but it is a meat. I eat lots of vegies. What do you eat for sweets and when you want crunchie? I have been staying under 20 carbs so I guess I am on the right track. Thanks Bri

You don't get sweets, but i did find a chocolate mint power bar that is made by Carb Solutions that hits the spot. Only 2 impact carbs it says. You can find them at walmart in the vitamin isle. As far as crunchies. You can eat cucumbers, radishies. Don't eat to many veggies. I think you can only have like 3 cups a day. Yeah lots of meat is fine. I like chicken, steak and I am cooking pot roast tonight. Shrimp is a good meat for veggie stir fry. Stuff like that.

Hi Ladies. How is induction going? I hope you both are still going strong. I'm doing well. Another couple of #'s have left. I hope it stick. I weigh in every Monday on the Century Board. They keep a chart with your progress on it. You will see a post that says MWI. You just type LMWI (last mondays weigh in) and put whatever it was and then you type TMWI (this monday's weigh in) and whatever your current weight is.

This is the link to the weight tracking chart if you want to see what it looks like.

http://www3.telus.net/public/a7a79809/mwichart.htm

So if you would like to join in you can.

I was thinking about joining the new me in 03 challenge on the playground, but I'm losing weight fine with the in-take of 30-35 carbs so I don't know what I'm going to do. I guess I have a couple of days to make up my mind.

Well I hope your week-ends are going fine.
Take care
Desz

Hello!

Sorry I haven't replied. Had a crazy weekend. I kind of fell off the wagon this weekend but not to bad. I helped a friend move all day on Saturday, and I didn't really eat much that day. So I had a sandwich when I got home. I'm not mad though....since I didn't eat all day, It didn't effect me to much. Started again yesterday, and I am back in Ketosis now. I added you both to Yahoo messenger.....I'll be on today for awhile.

Tracy, I missed you today. Don't worry about the sandwich. Whats done is done. Now you know you have to prepare for the unexpected. Some people prepare foods for a week. I'm gonna put the thread on here so you can view it.

http://www.pfangserver.com/bbs/showt...threadid=27505

Get you some string cheese, slim jims (yellow wrapper), pork rinds. If you are on induction, I don't know if you can have slim jims. You can ask on one of the main boards if you can. Anyway, make you some deviled eggs or some hard boiled eggs for convience. Just a little FYI

Talk to you later

Yeah I know.......

Yeah I always have stuff prepped up too. It was one of those things where I knew I was going to be gone all day, and wasn't hungry when I left the house, so didn't grab anything to take with me. I am usually pretty good about that stuff too. Oh well. My fault. I am pretty sure you can have slim jims on induction, I do and it doesn't effect me. I only eat 1 though maybe that's why. It's funny.....even when I "cheat" it isn't anything terrible. I NEVER go over 40 a day. So when I cheat I still lose. lol. What a change from the "old" lifestile. And like I said I am back in Ketosis today so time to move forward! Talk to you soon!

I just saw someone with the icon and decided that I wanted to do that too. It really isn't something you get into. I just thought the challenge sounded cool and I like makeing my stars go up in numbers.

http://www.pinecrestdesigns.com/stars/

There is the index of stars. You just start with one and then just up the number on the jpeg of whatever number of the day your on.

put it's link in your signature.

Yeah I am going to eat before I go to the party too.

Christa, how was the party at your church last night? I hope you enjoyed yourself.

My DH was off last night! Surprise for me. He, the kids and I brought in the New Years together. Then we pt the kids to bed and celebrated ourselves TMI!!!
